  • ^business as usual

  • (my knees hurt, my bike's punctured every time I've taken it out of the flat and I feel rubbish. just to get a list of excuses out there)

  • ^business as usual (and then still drop everyone and post up some 25.9mph laps)

  • laner speaks fondly of your supportive HoPs where you hang back and supportively tow instead of providing a moving target of ever decreasing size to aim for. it sounds curious. that was going to be my plan tonight, but I may try and get one quick one in.

  • Oi! In my world all of my laps are quick!

  • I'll be there tonight.

Doing my own thing, but will say hello.

  • Fucking awesome night for hops tonight!!! Hope you guys had a good ride!!!

  • Despite not really being in the mood, it was a very enjoyable hour! Some good action with the rolla boys and a v.quick chap on a black condor. Good gags.

I reeled a bit in the middle.

  • wanted to throw up the whole ride home. I am weak and tired.

  • who saw that rolla guy on the canyon schooled me and i lost the bunch real shame had to push on my own with one other guy for the rest of my laps, he pealed off after sitting behind me for 2 laps, sucking away my draft!

  • canyon rolla guy = sean/STE5. giant rolla guy = me. colnago rolla guy = justin (I saw a fleeting glimpse of him out there somewhere tonight)

  • Yeah, this is better for all concerned, everyone gets a decent work out and it means the whole hour is at a pretty consistent level. Not sure what happened to Laner tonight though :( - A good night all round I reckon.

  • Another epic HoP tonight! Cheers JAMIE for dragging me round! Clever Pun - a pleasure riding with you!

    Google Tracks had the following info;

    Total moving time - 1:00:42
    Average moving speed - 22.13mph
    Top speed - 31.32mph

Funny bit of the night for me was saying to JAMIE "looks like rain" so we both look up and JAMIE replies with "no clouds, probably just my sweat"

    Nice.

Well, he's not here at the flat, so I am going to presume you killed him with a hammer and then hid his body in a bush next to the zoo.

Bleeeeergh. I need to get out on a Thursday some more! Maybe next week, hopefully, possibly.

  • You can join the OSR school of improvement - guaranteed pain cave every week!

  • Yes please. Maybe we could even get some laps in another time?! If you're not too busy.

Anyway, someone spotted a super fast dude riding a black condor, so obviously I was in fact there tonight, fact.

  • ^ Tru story

Yeah course but you'll have to give me a heads up so i can unleash the Dolan, no records will be broken on the purple bike (as much as i love it)

  • If it is not raining Monday Ill be going for 4 laps after work. Give me a shout. Rich, you too can sample my rain.

  • Almost. Before we set off, he said he was going to see Xander later. So check the bush, if he isnt there, he'll be at Xander's

  • Yum, tentative dibs.

  • Cheers guys, great ride 43 miles in total tonight for me..

thanks for the tows, about 1/2 way I took a dip into the pain cave, managed to get out after OSK let me back on his wheel...

hurt like hell and I can't wait till next week

Hi. What were you wearing/riding? I don't remember schooling anyone. I had a stitch for the second half hour, deepest I've been in the pain cave ever. Enjoyed it though.

Did I see TT Tom as well or am I making that up?

  • Left work at 8.30. Went for a couple of pints. Did a couple of laps. Couldn't really be arsed.

    Bit shit really.

  • Loved the pain cave. OSR could probably hear me f'ing an c'ing behind him every time we took the bottom corner. But hung on - if only that. Looking forward to seeing y'all next week. - American dude
