Thursday Night - Hour of Power

Yea i was pleased with my first HoP. Will try and get a working computer next time and also sort out the TT bars as they are still a tad low for me

i went past at around 6:15 on my way to proms around the outer circle but you must have all been inner. looked like a nice night for it though

Fuck, I've gotta swap my shift at work so I can make this next week, sounds great! Finishing work at 7:30pm sucks...

With quicker rotations (peeling off before you slow down) that would've easily hit and passed 25mph average last night.

and would have lasted longer :)
Need someone to ogranise/scream at people to rotate properly.

Well if we've got support crew, why not have a marshal to stop traffic at the corner.

... or motor bikes doing a rolling road block for us.

need to get brave out again. last time he was there he ran a tight ship. was a nice quick one though, will the rolla train be a regular fixture?

Was down there on the road bike this afternoon, expected to see plenty of people training but there were more people on boris bikes than anything else.

Did 10 laps averaging 19mph, but realised I can't motivate myself to go very far into the pain cave on a solo effort (or the absence of any other competition), so the fastest was a disappointing 22mph. Fuck knows how anyone manages 8 laps at 24, you sure it wasn't km/h?

I'm not sure what time the gates are opened to cars in the morning but I had a great time doing laps with a couple of the RP Rouleur riders at 5.45am recently. Not a ped or a car in site. Just plenty of club riders.
