    /not actually on staff roster yet, so it's all fine. plus they graduate in a month or two, then they're just ordinary people. whatevs.

  • I'm about as discipline free as an overexcited puppy. The smooth and effective through-and-off to which them previous are referring has never occurred on my watch. But this could be a direct causal link, or just coincidence.

  • (geared too. if I do it fixed I'll push it too hard again, which I don't want. plus hopefully I'll be done at uni in time to get to the league tonight, and don't want two hard fixed nights in a row)

  • just give me a cheery hello as you go by.. Truth be told my legs are still heavy from last Thursday HoP, Saturday road race.. Sunday recovery ride (3 hours with Mrs Brave) and Monday 2 up TT hanging on to JAMIES back wheel for dear life.. Got a Crit on Sunday so don't want to burn out..

  • Doubt I'll bother. Wouldn't be able to get there till gone 7.15pm, and it's no fun jumping on a warmed up chaingang when you're still cold; and my knees are a bit achey after lifting some dead early this morning.

    But that would leave me in a 7.30pm turbo scenario. Hmm…

    Was going to do my loop of Hampton Wick again. But might join this.

  • a token appearance at the track league suggests that I'm a little bit fucked tonight, may have to bail tomorrow depending on how far I have to ride to/from work. pedalling is slow and painful.

    /rest days? what are those?

  • I heard they make you go faster and sometimes are more beneficial than training days.
    I also heard that you get your strength during rest days and not when you ride your bike hard.
    But these are just rumours and what do I know.
