    Rail Replacement Service

No pain train this week; I'm down in Dorset sneaking in a recce-run on the local TT course while pretending to be with my family for pre-Easter.
    Slackers rejoice!
Instead, a rail replacement service will be in operation.

Thursday, 1830hrs for 1845 departure at the large gate opposite York Bridge, Inner Circle. Then up and out for some anti-clockwise Outer Circle fun.
    >20mph average, but if you can't hold on, worry not! Form your own little pootle-bus for light relief. Lap times are irrelevant, but there's a possible slow lap/rolling rest after the first 4. Stop after 8 laps/22 miles. Or earlier, if you're a slacker (no shame in that). A little bit of a rest, then off to LMNF for recovery.

    1. Brave (cheating and in pain cave)
    2. adrian
    3. woodie (72" fixed)
    4. upstart (74" fixed)
    5. Stonehedge (3.5" erect)
      6.pt (in spirit)
    6. modest (cheating unless i have a new bike)
    7. JAMIE (whistling)
    8. KRZ
      ----------------------

5.45pm meet(inner circle), 6pm start for half hour laps pre sprints thursday 21st:

    1. nelaii (arriving at a tight 5.55pm traffic dependent)
    2. laner
    3. fade
    4. Woodie (warming up for the HoP not the sprints)

Decided on a whim, kind of, to cycle to Stafford on the Thursday. Did 3 laps of power and a couple Swain's Lanes yesterday though to make up for it.

Probably. Your riding is not erratic enough for me. I'm only interested in intervals at the mo.

I do not understand the pre-laps thing, what are you trying to do, tyre yourselves out?

  • Is that how Americans spell fatigue?

  • I do not understand the pre-laps thing, what are you trying to do, tyre yourselves out?

    start a revolution?
    /more crap punnage

  • Just put on a sensible gear.

    And TT bars.

Promise I will only use them on the lead though, so as not to fall foul of the 6pt dickhead rule

  • Exactly. Try to avoid going strong for more than 30 seconds ;-)

  • Exactly :)

  • No excuses yet?

  • nope

  • Riding with Brave and JAMIE was a pleasure on tuesday. Those boys are FAST and comfortable with the distance.

JAMIE at the start did 2 laps resting his elbows on the shortest Hipster risers i know personally. Was amazing to watch. Comfortable at 23mph...

  • Oh and both had heavy locks and full curryier bags passing unhappy roadies!

  • CB did not fall off
