Crikey, it's just one of these, with mostly default bits; though my wheels aren't quite as snazzy and I've a Romin saddle.
I don't actually think that it's much to look at, but nae bother. I recently had a try on all manor of go-faster carbonated quilt-work; though I'm not massively ostentatious and an unassuming sort of a bike is therefore a good fit. In fact, there's still something to be said for battering up a hill with an ali' tourer, I do miss my mudguards.
So so far, I'm dead chuffed. My only remaining quibble is the way in which my upper body was measured, and therefore the length of the stem/ width of the handlebars. All feel a bit roomy to me, I think that slightly smaller sizes on the front of the bike would make everything feel a bit snappier (particularly climbing). Mind you, in this minor bug there's obvious potential for more fun. New parts, innit.

I felt the bars on my enigma were quite wide etc at first, but now I got around to love it. Give it a go and see how you feel afterwards. Those guys made all the right decisions for me, even when I thought they weren't.
Also, I still want a pic!
Beauty, my friend, is in the eye of the beholder.
So go on, take a snap. -

that looks f'ing great. good choice!
i'd go with what pascal said, if they've measured you, let it bed in for a bit. -

there's no way i'm doing an hour of power, and there's no real way i think i could cope with a pain chain gang to dunwich.

I used to do this kind of thing with other riders at Regents Park years ago (seen it all before blah blah blah), and would be up for it again, were it not for Thu evening issue desk shift :(
I've just finished my course of antibiotics anyway, so tonight is reserved for a bottle of Kazakhstan's mentalist cycling anti-hero.

Having been the fastest up the hill, I'm now well and truly over it.

I always wanted there to be a forum for vet/retired hillclimbers called 'over the hill'. Mainly for the pun – the audience is perhaps to specific too make it work as an actual concept.
but down to business:
**_______________________________________Tonight, 22 June, as a led session, is cancelled
_______________________________________**Not really in the mood for it, the weather's got the potential to turn unpleasant and I'm saving what meagre resources my body has for Dunwich. Business as usual next week though!

Damo, if you wanna do a somewhat more mellow pace during the DD than Tom and those boys, then I'll keep you company happily.

What time shall we set off then? Anything you want to pack into my pannier? (And I mean this literally, not in a sexual kind of way!) -

Otherwise the pannier is for water and food, extra towel and meathangers for the swim.
That should be about it. -

Got a complicated day of travelling tomorrow, but have wangled it such that my bike will be in Central London for the evening. The only question is whether I'll be on it or not. I'm going to assume a positive though. So!

Thursdays,1830hrs at the gate opposite York Bridge for an hour of speedy pedalling/pedestrian avoidance.
20mph+ average, but if you can't hold on, worry not! Lap times are between 1:30 and 1:45 so you won't have long to wait until the train comes around again, just hop on the back and keep on pedalling.
Possible slow lap after 10 miles for a bit of a chat and a gulp of water, but not for long. Stop at 1930hrs or 20miles, whichever comes sooner (it'll be the 20 miles)
Option to wind down on the outer circle after with the Rollapaluzas (I think) or bugger off to the Edinboro Castle for some carbo loading/calorie recovery. The List:
- 6pt

Just saw this thread and think this is an awesome idea. I've never done Regent's Park but assuming I can get out of work on time, I'd love to give it a go.
