From Friday 13 December, Barclays Cycle Hire is expanding to southwest London including Wandsworth and Hammersmith & Fulham. We are also expanding the scheme to cover more of Kensington & Chelsea and Lambeth.

Barclays may be having misgivings after recent, tragic events. The financial side of the deal was very murky and unclear.

Frankly they had a great deal mostly because it was easier for tfl to say you give us £x (which was a small percentage of what the advertising revenue could have been) so we don't need to find a million advertisers each year and so they had a confirmed source of revenue for the beginning when no one really knew if it would take off.
Tfl (or more likely an ad agency) will make a bucketload of cash when Barclays stop being sponsor.

Yeah but boris bikes don't have those "always wear a helmet, no stunting or jumping" stickers on them so it's perfectly safe.

Look like a trial bike, doesn't look like a hire bike at all.

Saw it being built on instagram, it is a bbike, but with different wheels and seatpost removed

and different fork and stem, etc, etc..

Infact it really does't look like a BB at all..
