None of it?
The more popular movies seem to get a good review (Akira, Spirited Away)Live action movies and Netflix's determination to buy up all the franchises and turn them into CGI hasn't helped.

I have the distinct impression that when a lot of Westerners talk about Anime, they mean not just "Animation created in Japan" but "Japanese animated films of a paticular genre and style". I could say that Akira falls in that genre/style while Spirited Away does not, but I'd be lying since I was stoned out of my gourd when I watched Akira.
I'm told the Japanese call any animated film from anywhere "Anime" and I don't think I was on anything when I heard that.

My daughter is currently watching a show on Netflix called 'Demon Slayer'. Absolute shit.

Them's fighting words. Of course, Studio Ghibli fans might not be the most frightening mob.

You need to watch Perfect Blue to overcome these feelings

You need to watch Legend of the Overfiend to overcome these feelings

Have a watch of Urotsukidoji: Legend Of The Overfiend and Fist Of The North Star. Will change your view of Anime. And probably your view of tentacle rape. If you didn’t know tentacle rape was a thing, you do now 👍

I was very, very close to buying Giant Haystacks's old house off his sons a few years ago.
In a similar vein, my wife worked with Big Daddy's son several years back

voice actors
Yeah, that's been an issue with english dubs for a long time. I almost exclusively watch with subtitles.
Almost all modern anime seem to miss the beautiful aesthetic that you got from purely hand drawn cels in the 80s and 90s.
I can definitely say most of my viewing is finding old gems these days. -

This is a good suggestion

Anime erotica is not a rabbit hole to start down. Proper WTF.

• #3689
Oh I have no problem with tentacles 👍
-

You might do after you see what nonsense they get up to in anime.
I've never looked into it but I think it's so big because of the laws of censorship in Japanese adult films. -

Similarly random pro wrestling dredge, my great uncle Frank was the Sydenham Cyclone and did the wrestling circuit with Jackie Pallo and Mick McManus!

Urotsukidoji definitely goes under the Proper WTF banner!

Oh jesus, I stayed in a hotel in Osaka for a couple of nights. The kind of hotel you could also rent rooms by the hour. The porn menu on the telly was very extensive, and the Anime subsection of that also quite vast.

Under armour.
It looks like Elon Musk designed it. Why the F do people wear the shit?

• #3695
Cosplay. Like most fashion.
-
• #3696
Yeah was saying exactly this the other day. Douche wear

I mean I get that deferent people buy into different brands, be it Drake or Armani. I probably wouldn't wear SuperDry, but I can see the appeal.
UA just seems so shit.
-
• #3698
UA make good boxers for running in. I'd never buy a branded item or clothing that's visible though.

People that ‘race’ sportives, don’t leave in the first bunch and then moan about being held up by slower riders.
I fact I don’t get ‘sportive racers’ full stop. Timing chips can get to fuck. -

Just make sure you preheat the oven and keep an eye on them.
Even without the other people it would still be fucking boiling with sand everywhere. I mean even my house has a load of sand in it after unpacking the suitcases.
