    Ah, yes my two posts one after another might be confusing.

    I was referring to the Ribble Winter Special, which has 10 speed SRAM and mud guards for £670, which looks like a pretty good deal for a winter/shitty weather bike.

    Especially as i really want to buy a Cannondale but Cannondale themselves don't seem to want to bother selling it to me.

    So fuck 'em

  • I now have the money to pull the trigger on my bike purchase and yet I seem to have lost my bottle - fuckwit

  • Don't do it. Bikes are shit. It's like free money!

  • Which would leave me to do the Etape on a lugged steel frame with terrifying brakes.. hmm

  • just get some better brakes then?

    But look at this lovely blue colour....

  • In a word, no.

    Don't worry, I found a brand new bike for you, it even have chrome mudguard and downtube shifter (don't worry it's indexed, we're not that old fashion, ho ho);

  • That's a Pashley Ed, it probably costs what it weighs in Gold Bullion.

  • and probably flexes like a bungee cord

  • The EMX I posted is wearing the wrong levers?

    hides from roadie gods

  • No, you're ok- it's got Shimano on it rather than that Romanian stuff.

  • those images are renders anyway - they've just potatochopped the wrong bits on

  • So what is it you are currently trying to pull the trigger on?

  • 2000gn........

    Mink coat?

    Won this baby- 2010 frame. Solved ebay farce by agreeing to pay cash next week. No ride for me this weekend, but I get a nice new bike

  • I love the seller's lazy description;

    For more info on this bike please surf the web.

  • he was a bit more forthcoming after I pushed him for details.

    Yeah. Bit of a botch job though.

    Nice. Hope it delivers.

  • I am disappoint.

    We spend ages edumacating Dan and then he buys the bike equivalent of a Ford Mondeo!

  • it's fucking s-works! Cosworth at least

  • A Ford Mondeo with a different engine to boot.

  • It's the only model of bike out there that has been aqua-raced by an LFGSS member though, that sort of cachet cannot be bought
