really, Ed?! Thanks - I would never have known this otherwise....
Wasn't directed at you, just stating the obvious.

Even if you are a Pro-peloton writer ghost posting on lfgss then you will not notice any difference at all.

Anyone know how long do wiggle end of season sales last for - been stalking 2012 bikes on there to see if any further reductions transpire but not sure if they tend to end the sales at a particular time.

• #3805
Sales of 2012 models will end when they are all gone, so it's a matter of who blinks first between you and other potential buyers, not you and Wiggle

Ace.
I'd leave the pie plate on until you find someone with the tools to remove it properly though. Cutting it off sounds a bit silly. If you are west / central I can do it for you.

Huge stack on that head tube?
I have nothing against a tower of spacers, but isn't it a bit risky* with a carbon steerer tube? Don't some manufacturers state a safety limit?
*I can't be sure, however, this is the internet & I can pretend ( however briefly ) to know anything.

Put a spacer on the top of the stem, highly recommended.
And I'm surprised no one mentioned the jauntily saddle angle, this forum is going downhill.

Most manufacturers advise no more than 50mm spacers under the stem, on an OTP I'd expect (and the pic seems to show) the steerer pre-cut to this dimension. IIRC from Dammit's build, Crack'n'fail have a big heavy reinforcement sleeve as part of their headset adjuster.

Crack'n'fail .
Making me nervous! Thank ;)

Making me nervous!
They acquired that nickname a long time ago, and it has probably made them more careful than anybody else not to let bad products go to market ever since.

seat angle fixed, pie plate removed, will put the spacer above stem : )
Edit: All done, now to herne hill -

Has nothing to do making high end groupsets look worthwhile though. Even bike whore idiot MAMILs, like myself, know the term 'worthwhile' is a fecking mile off target. The top tier is flashy, and all the more so for being expensive.
Its about being able top equipe complete bikes to a certian price point. Thats where most of the groups are shifted. If you cant offer at the very least veloce (should be Athena IMHO though. But thats another argument), on the same bike, for the same mony as 105/rival. You're losing the game. It appears Campagnolo needed to 'reposition' Veloce etc. to do this.
