to be honest he's crazy to even think about taking a grand for that.
Yeah, you'd have to be bonkers.
It's a sweet ride, great spec, fair price.
Don't sweat it.

Also I suspect that the second the £1,020 bid went in on eBay that the bike was no longer for sale for a grand, and that was days ago.

Word got out that dammit rode one, and the price rocketed. Blame the fact that he posts a new pic every time he puts new air in the tyres.

Ian, I wouldn't worry. It is very rare that you ever get anything you want for the absolute cheapest price possible.
As everyone's said, it is good value. You got a deal. Don't worry about it.
James - my idea was brilliant. Fact. With that size of bike what are the odds him not being bigger than the seller?

Maybe Iain could use his world renowned inner ear issue as a bargaining point?
-
• #1083
What you mean take it for a test ride and threaten to lean?
-
• #1084
Damn, shouldve asked for a test ride first!
-
• #1085
Cheers for the words of confidence here guys. Much appreciated.
It has made the news ok.
(damn you dammit for making them more expensive!)

Just remember the hideously overpriced brick lane fixie conversion a few weeks ago?
That was painful.
You have done well with this. Just ride it.

Could have bought a mink coat for 2k.
Jus sayin.

Fitted cassette, swapped rear 23c ultremo for 25c ultremo, fitted BB, and and bottle cages. Gonna wait till I get my crank arms before I start spamming again though.

Another one for you shorties
-
• #1095
Do you have some sort of ebay alert on for a bike you already own, lanky? :)
I'm not even short, I just have an oddly proportioned body.
Bet that one goes for £1500, CB

Heh, no that link is to a Six13.
I'd love a Six13 TT frame, hence I search for them fairly regularly, there is one on eBay right now, but it's a 54 also.
That said I don't know if I should not get a size down for a TT bike/confused.
-
• #1097
Right, for all those tt's you're competing in? :P
I think you should give me some of the money you're thinking of spending on new bikes - I can look after it for you.
-
• #1098
I'll look after it so well, you'll never have to worry about where it's gone
-
• #1099
At this stage I'd probably hang it on the wall- I freely admit to not having a use for it.
I'm just a fan of the carbon/alloy Cannondale's- they were (possibly) the apogee of Cannondale's frame making.

I'd pay good money for one of these that fit:
still a bargain.
