I realised on Monday that as my new bike is 2kgs lighter (and a load stiffer) than my old one I can ride faster than last year even though I'm fatter.

I weighed in at 74.6 Kg today. Lightest I've ever been as an adult, and being sub 75kg means I have now officially lost over 20kg in the last two years.
Any wagers on post-Tour Divide weight?

I will eat a pie or two at the Pie-o-neer cafe probably. And also 8000+ calories a day for 20+ days.

Trip went well, food was good- much lamb was eaten. Presentation went well, fairly daunting initially but the content clearly interested them and I think the Turkish slides were appreciated.

I've felt fully healed the last couple of rides. I am now putting on weight again.
Training = hunger = peanut butter sandwiches = fatty furry

I feel quite depleted after a fasting day. Yesterday did two hours of cycling and two hours of yoga and consumed less than 600 calories. I am assuming my glycogen gets used up and not replaced when fasting and still doing exercise. Have been v v slooooooow today and feeling quite lethargic. Weight is coming off and more of my wardrobe is becoming wearable again.
I know, he could probably stand to read it/participate. Maybe he needs the 5-2 diet.
