Do you mean for accurate weight or for bodyfat?

So have been out off from boxing training for eleven months with elbow tendon injuries. In that time I have put on ten kilos of fat and now I am as weak as a baby. The last ten days I have been able to do twenty push ups per day so it looks like I am finally healing. Have just started back with my morning runs; I say run but its more of a 1km shuffle.

Yes.
I know my scales are consistent which is all that really matters, they've just pissed me off by calling me fat.

Would you prefer "big boned"?

Mate I've been wondering where you were, thought you died of tennis elbow?

Morning shuffle, followed by baby calisthenics and some slowmo shadow boxing, I feel like an old man, I am fifty next year
How about you, how are you getting on?

I won't find the time to do anything but keeping the weight down.
Pure laziness.

Just remembered why I stopped doing cardio at lunchtime...
Sitting at my desk with an overly pink face and seriously worried. I'm going to have to change shirt if I get any hotter.

Spending time this week trying to get my diet in order, and actually getting up in the morning.
Reading the Starting Strength stuff, very interesting. Think I'll give it a go. Not sure when to start though, as I really struggle to work out the amount I should be eating when training. Before I never cared, and sure I gained strength but also a fat stomach :P
Food breakdown:
Net Calories Consumed* / Day 1,582 cal/day
Carbs / Day 20 g
Fat / Day 123 g
Protein / Day 99 gbut that's with no exercise at all. I work from home so don't even cycle these days. I've no idea what to change that to if I start doing SS (and some cycling inbetween). Thoughts ?
Up the protein to about 2g per pound.

Hmm I'm about 185 lbs... so that works out around 92 g of protein... I'm doing 99 g atm Or have I totally miss understood ?

185 * 2 != 92
185 / 2 = 92.5
185 * 2 = 370 -

That might be a bit much actually.
I meant per Kg!
-
• #6468
ahhh 165g makes more sense :)

Yeah I don't know where I got pounds from. I'm going for between 150-180g. It's actually a bit of an effort sometimes, as my girlfriend isn't the biggest meat eater and I'm currently eating an outrageous amount of chicken. :)

Morning shuffle
Is that really a good way to loose weight?
-
• #6471
From one arm, at least.

I decided to weight myself before and after going to the gym last night - turns out the air con isn't working at my gym and I managed to lose 0.8kg despite drinking as much water as I could without being sick. I am kind of impressed and kind of sickened.

Back to work today after 2 days being ill. Have hardly ate at all during that time. Avoiding the gym until tomorrow at the earliest, feel rather weak today.

73kg three days of lots of exercise, increased weight training, and increased protein seems to be having the opposite effect I was hoping for.

I've just done three consecutive days of Bikram Yoga, my goal is to do 5, so far so good. I'm losing weight and it isn't just fluid as I'm drinking more than I am sweating.
Do really expensive tanita scales actually make a difference?
I have trusted my scales for the last couple of years but when they say I'm 71kg and a little overweight they just lost credibility...
