Sainsburys oat and raisin cookies are rocket fuel!
Flew home (it may have been the tailwind) in 1hr 30minutes so I'm now officially faster than my train commute when cycling...

So measurements. What exactly?
I'm thinking waist, hips, chest/boobs, thighs and arms around the biceps. And once a week?
Anything I'm missing?

All I really care about is body fat. The fitter I get the lower the body fat. Simples.

Finally got around to putting batteries in my scales.
Months of spending my evenings eating biscuits in the office instead of riding my bike has not been good to me.
Hi thread.
Posted this time last year... Here we go again. I'm a full stone heavier than six months ago. Need to find a better way of dealing with busy periods at work than cake.

Really pleased that I managed to drag myself out of bed to run to bray to go swimming, did my planned 1600m and then rounded my run up to 20k by coming home via Windsor.
Fuelled by jam sandwiches and now sipping on a protein shake!
Same again tomorrow i think!

I cornered the vending machine guy at work today and said "make it have more pepsi max or you shall be smited from above".
Vending machine? Doing it wrong. We just have a whiteboard which gets turned into an Ocado delivery every Monday.
Friday is always no-snacks-left-day.

We don't even have a kitchen in our place. It's a "break out area". Cunts.
360g block of Cadbury's to my right, ftw.

Fucking thighs are pissing me off. I am a 32 in all the waists with gaps but my thighs still force me to buy 34's

Oh man, I just went to myfitnesspal to log my calories and I remembered that I dropped a bit of my ice cream on the ground today and now I feel sad again.
-
• #5837
Ha, but at least you don't have to put those calories in!
-
• #5838
Depends if she used the 6 second rule
-
• #5839
Why would you feel sad if the ice cream was picked up and eaten....?
-
• #5840
No, I left it on the ground. It was a Feast, and the bit I dropped was the chocolate bit inside, which, as any fule no, is the best bit of a Feast. But less so when it's covered in ground.
Actually, if I had picked it up and ate it I think I would still have been sad, but for different reasons.

Managed to get out swimming again this morning, cut the run down to 12k, but I think that help justify the beers I'll be having this afternoon!

Now to make allllll the food.

• #5843
76.8 this morning, I reckon I can be 76 or just below for Norway.

Actually, if I had picked it up and ate it I think I would have been left standing on my own.

80kg. Which I was well happy with. Pushes my watts per kg up.
I was closer to 85 kg not that long ago.

any advice on losing the gut?
good health plans and workout schedules maybe? -
• #5848
Eat healthily, and do exercise
Afaik there is no way of targeting fat loss in any specific area of you body.
In my experience a mix of cardio and strength training is effective, and higher intensity rather than long slow stuff seems to have more effect on me.
My weekly work outs include free weights sessions, swimming, running speed work and cycling speed work...

Ok I'm currently at 85kg ideally would like to be down to around 80kg.

74.5kg this morning.
Pleased with the progress but intrigued by the fact my weight is higher every Monday morning that it is for the whole week...
Decided against the burito and had two sandwiches and a oat and raisin cookie.
Now trying to tell myself the oats and raisins in the cookie are healthy and ignoring the 6 tonnes of refined sugar...
Bbq'd chicken, new potatoes and salad for dinner and then I may finally manage to get to go open water swimming tomorrow morning...
