Any of you guys use Fitocracy?
Thinking of giving it a go. From the 1st April there's a daily exercise you can join in with and is possible at home.

I've stabilized at 3kg weight loss in 3 months, though my immune system took a hit during the process - I needed a day or two of stuffing my face to get the upper hand over the virus/es.
May attempt to shift another 0.5kg-1kg which would put me at a weight not seen since the pre-lfgss era. Trouble is this could mean a diminishment in flatland power minus the climbing exuberance of youth, making the whole thing little more than a meaningless flirtation with having cheekbones.

Show my your cheekbones!

I seem to have misplaced another kilo. I guess that's what happens when you actually start riding your bike properly again. .

Stag do on the 16th. . .
A whole day of booze and lots of carbs.
Started the day with a full english, a pint and then pancakes at 10am. Was good!I've also spent the last week or so in Spain, climbing. Managed to stay pretty strict on the diet and it's made a big difference.
Now to incorporate some cardio to get my fitness back up. . .

Fuck, I've tipped over the 80kg mark! I was 75kg in the summer but could probably do with being 72kg. Being a cheesemonger doesn't help...
Now 73.9kg. Lost over 6kg in two months. If you were wondering, that's 3/4 the weight of a whole Stilton.

Mmm, Stilton.

Think part of the reason for feeling shit was picking up a cold that's been going round the office, been struggling to eat for a few days and got some other symptoms.
As for the coffee, usually 2 through the morning so 4 shots espresso, avoid it in the afternoon.
I think our bodies are very different fixedcheese, if I had that breakfast I'd be craving more carbs and sugar an hour or 2 after, if I have a tin of tuna and some fruit I'm fine.
Are you trying to lose weight?
No its not bad for you.
Forgot to get back about this, turned out the chest pains and lack of apetite was the start of a virus that left me with dizzyness, bleeding swollen gums, extreme fatigue and a variety of other side affects...
Wiped me out for 3 weeks still recovering now!
Oh and yep, I'm trying to lose fat.

79.3 still.

3500+ cals a day, 6ft 2in, 14st 9lb and 10% body fat...I eat constantly, have dropped from around 17st just from changing the way I eat and what I eat and training harder
Basically, there's no magic solution surprisingly!!
In all seriousness though, between me and my gf there's not alot we don't know about nutrition and training!

In all seriousness, there's not a lot I don't know about sub-atomic particles and the meaning of life.

Have been meaning to ask you about that for a while...

I'm slimming down for the season. Competitive rugby is going to be rare. So I dont want to carry 30 BMI up mountains all summer.
Luckily I was on a pretty heavy eating regime. So cutting down is easy enough.
Now - 5'7", 86Kg, healthy fat %
Ideally I'd like to lower my BMI by increasing height, rather than cutting the ben'n'jerrys.

72.2kg this morning. 10 days since I last weighed myself and I've lost 0.6kg which is essentially a pint of water.
Feeling disheartened as I've been doing loads of exercise:
Fri - 2.5km swim
Sat - gym session (30 min cardio intervals + weights; as per personal trainers program)
Sun - core and strength class
Mon - nothing
Tues - PT session at lunch, 7km run after work
Wed - nothingThis plus cycling 10 miles a day.
I've cut out gluten, dairy (except natural yogurt), caffeine, sugar and alcohol.
Still eating some carbs (porridge for breakfast, lentils and a bit of potato in a homemade minestrone soup).
Wtf am I doing wrong? Patience is not one of my virtues and this weather is making me want pie, mash and a pint of ale.

^do you keep track of your body measurements?
sometimes exercise will take off some fat but replace it with muscle so you don't change weight but your body composition is still improving.
-
• #5299
is it true dark matter is more slimming?
Yes, unless it's stripey dark matter.

If I'm honest with you, I think the diet sounds pap.
Also, be aware that scales are not the be all of weight loss. Try taking measurements - losing half a kilo of fat may make a significant difference. Take progress photos (I used to think this was pretty stupid until I started but I'm into it now, even if it does feel rather vain). Being able to see progress when the scales aren't changing helps keep me motivated (I'm not losing weight to look better but seeing a change in the body serves as a reminder something's happening at least).
77.1kg just now, I am getting lighter
