As for the weight loss, i'm heading in the other direction. Eating some more protein.
This is what I've been doing this year. I had gained 1kg, and had lost a little fat to boot. But I think the fats come back, and I'm now just a slightly wider version of the tasteful pic above. I have this idea of maintaining a BMI over 30, yet losing the fat.
they play Rugby in Norway ?
Its a small sport here. Played by has-been, foreigners like me, and massive yet inexperianced locals.

For planks, I do 3x3x1minute with feet on a swiss ball. So front for 1 minute, rotate to one side for 1 mintue, then rotate to other side for 1 minute, for 3 rounds. Works a treat.
tried the elevated frontside plank (from the sofa) - excellent, 2 mins of this is equal to 1 min of the normal oblique plank, thank you for this - the routine is now balanced

Try replacing simple carbs with more complex carbs, wild rice for white rice, wholewheat bread for white bread, wholewheat pasta for white pasta, sweet potatoes for potatoes - its about making steady progress not achieving perfection so give yourself some time and don't beat yourself up if you fancy eating a bag of chips or a cake every once in a while - its all day every day that piles on the pounds

Thats nicely spread out though. I reckon I average 14%. But have 40% on the bottom half of my stomache, and little anywhere else.

I haven't been in here in a while, weight has remained stable between 62-68kg. Have just upped the fitness regeime to a certain extent as I was getting bored of running.
Started some ridiculous dvd thing called Insanity. The clue is in the name. 3 days in and I feel like I've been beaten all over with a sack of bricks. Its faddy, american as fuck but I've never experienced cardio like it. Nearly threw up this morning halfway through, but I did manage to demolish my Strava time on the ride in...
If I stick to the schedule I'll be done in early Jan if anyone wants to borrow it. -

Ergh, don't want to know what my weight is after 4 days feeding my cold, apart from a dull headache and being unable to breath, I seem to be better, now back on it but not running for a few days yet, so will wait till the weekend to weigh myself.

Why not have a box of doughnuts now to make yourself feel better?

@ smallfurry- I know i have about 12% BF, which is all located on my belly.
Its really annoying. Clearly need to do more core work, but with a lab project, a examined presentation, and 3 exams in the the next month, and running on the side- I cannot find the time to do it effectively. I can't wait for the new year when I can swim and cycle! (instead of just running).Incidentally- after the run today I dropped to below 65kgs. That was ridiculous dehydration...
Will weigh myself on Sunday, just to try and get in the training mindset again.
Judging by how much I weighed before the run- my diet of eat everything in the fridge everyday has not affected my previous normal weigh in.Last night for example: Entire packet of mince chili con carne + Coconut rice (about 2 servings of a full bowl) + yoghurty cereal fruit honey pudding.
