74.1kg this morning, over 10kg down now. Still some small pockets of flubber hanging on in there frustratingly, but in general quite lean now.
This week I've been told to add 500 calories of carbs into breakfast on training days, which turns out to be two slices of toast + marmalade (tasty, tasty marmalade) and an apple alongside my normal omelette/500 calories of protein, fat and fibrous veg.

73.9, which is getting there, I've been enjoying my toast and marmalade on training days.

Cultivate enormous calves for lower centre of gravity?

73.1 kg this morning, I think I genuinely will need to modify my suspension settings.

Mountain biking doesn’t get the HR going like running or road riding^

The graph matches my sobriety quite well.

That looks like it's levelling off. Epic fail thread >>>>>>>>>

I seem to be levelling off at 89kg at the moment.
I dread to think what my composition stats are like - Muscle mass is a thing of the past, and my cardio is non-existent.

That's impressive. Great work. I'm back where I started because of knee knack. Starting the road to loosing it. Able to ride so that's good, hope after a check next week I'll be able to use a treadmill,
The muffin top has hit me quite bad!!more full Yorkshire pudding than muffin. -

QUESTION - wife and daughter just mentioned that they want a treadmill. Any recommendations and do and don’ts when buying ?
Thanks all.
I will also post this in strength training too. -

Well, levelling off now anyway, target is 80kg in June but with the body fat that I have now.

Diet out the window for Christmas and my resting heart rate has shot up- unexpected but interesting.
-
• #13569
Constant digestion and body in shock from processing all the booze will do that.
I remember observing my resting heart rate during a hangover after a heavy night, the HR was horrific...

Yup, I feel like I've been hit by a particularly lardy train.

Thinking of a new watch?😁 Stressing over pedals? Could be many things.

Getting back to 80kg with no change in body fat is going to be tougher than loosing the weight I think. Great achievement so far :)

Yes, going to be 12 week build/4 week cut pattern I think. Christmas is going to take a while to smooth out.

So official start of the year for me for losing weight (because you can't realistically start on a Friday before a weekend)!
About 6 weeks of consecutive colds, lack of training, Christmas etc has put me at 74.5kg.
I'd like to be back to 68kg fairly quickly, with a longer term aim of getting down to 66kg and maintaining 2kg +/- through the year.
71 by end of Jan, 69 by end of Feb, 67 by end of March.Intermittent fasting for me, which worked well before, both for calorie restriction and minimising snacking, and about 5h on bike, 3-4h of other exercise.
Aiming to do this without tanking my immune system, which has definitely taken a beating over the last 6 weeks. -

75.9kg this morning, I'm aiming to keep to 75-76 for January, keeping body fat down and slowly building muscle mass.
Had the last of the Christmas Pudding yesterday so only the trifle to finish off now.
