This revision period has actually really helped me with weight/fat loss in some ways, and pissed me off in others. I find it easier to watch what I eat, do plyometrics in breaks, and go running most nights. But I am missing out on the commute to university (the main reason for upping the running). As I'm not doing most of my exercise til late (around 11pm-12am) and in the mornings sitting around at computer, I only eat fruit/cereal/brown toast/egg/raw vegetable and drink greentea/tea and water. And then eat a main meal at around 8pm usually consisting of Quinoa and something.

HatBeard very similar situation to what I'm in... last time lost alot of weight quickly I was cycling 7 (mostly downhill) miles to work, eating low calorie diet then a quick ride home home to something healthy for tea... Now I'm doing 20 miles each way it's proving much more difficult to stick to a low calorie intake, cos I feel like I need to eat more otherwise I just feel knackered for ride home.
I'm finding it very difficult to get the weight off, although on the plus I am getting pretty fit carting all this chunk up hill and down dale.

Time to cut out the booze and pies I reckon.

Up the cardio and eat less. Basically what I'm doing, read my meals up there ^
Cutting out booze is a great starting point they are just completely dead calories.

or just drink vodka...
september is a while off yet, plenty of time to shed a decent chunk of weight/tone up/get healthy. It's also soon enough that you could kick the booze, until your actual wedding.
I just had Jerk turkey and quinoa and it was awesome. Deciding if I can be bothered to go for a run...

I male specific multi vitaminI see orange juice and a load of weird shit that Mr Universe probably endorses.
What's wrong with toast?

You look unsettlingly like General Lucifer in this picture:
And what's with the hat and beard in one? We demand an explanation. :)

I also eat the toast my kids dont eat (or drop on the floor).
I over exercise, and am no spring chicken. So I get paraniod about my vitamins. To be honest, its like setting sail in a leaky boat, and bringing a shite load of polyfiller and sticky tape. Sooner or later, leaks will appear quicker than they're fixed, and my body will just sink like a house brick.
The protein is to gain weight. Its is in addition to massively over eating, which I enjoy.
I've reached a happy balance of rugby weight/strength, and running/cycling weight/endurance. So I'll probably cut down. Pity, I like eating.

You don't get a 'hippy is fat' ubertag for not enjoying eating. :) I would never say I 'enjoy' eating powerbars, gels, protein shakes, recovery drinks, etc though. I'm sure there are more normal options but none are as convenient and it's too late in the day to change. But normal work day brekkie for me = coffee and cereal or toast. Maybe yoghurt, pronounced yo-gurt.. not yog hurt.

I have a coffee- let me guess, I'm doing it wrong?

Some days I miss brekkie but rarely. I need fuel post-ride.

Me neither. I love knowing I have a few gels in my jersey. But the reality of eating the sticky shits is something else. Especially if your trying to run at the same time. Makes your face feel like you mistook a Prittstick glue for the sunblock stick.

I also had work to do. Gotta pay for the food I eat don't I?
BOXES of doughnuts here today and two cakes for three separate birthdays and the market.. reckon my calorie intake was above recommended?

What? That's dumb. Why didn't they have a sign saying as much?
Agreed. We've become a nation of denatured protein abusers, that look for ways to make weight loss easy.
