You should thank me. With any luck I'll sink this island before Brexit fucks us all.

I've been in Ireland when it hasn't rained. Honest.

Unless the friend was also say a former coach and has in-depth knowledge of previous HR data for given efforts :P

This. Footways in London are horrendous to run on. Not sure why local authorities persist with ASP when it's soon uprooted and causes trip hazards.

You could try the MAF Method although you'll probably end up riding much slower to start with to keep HR down!

Every time Skydancer is over to visit it's great weather somehow...
Lots of walkers out today, and some runners too.
And runners on the cycle lane cos nrrrrrrrggggg ;) -

Interesting - thanks!

I read my book while walking! The pavements here have bikes, scooters and out-of-control poodles wearing clothes so it's perhaps a little dangerous, but then again this is a country full of smartphone zombies so we're all good at dodging each other.

Yeah, I never ran into anything so I don't know why people with phones can't manage. It's not like your peripheral vision stops working and a glance up every now and then for eye-level hazards, Bob's your uncle.

I like to use my size to force people out of the way. They pinball off me. It's great. The joys of being a giant in a land of tiny people.

Ha! I remember being on trains in Japan and being a foot taller than 99% of people in the carriage :)

Lost about an lbs, introducing more walking/cycling this week.
Only problem I have is that I can't sleep when I eat 1400 calories...more walking/cycling means more carbs as I am going for net 1300 (1850-550, the theoretical one lbs a week...), so hopefully that will help.
I had a whole 1700 calories this weekend and I felt a lot better. I could take it more slowly but then it's really going to take ages to drop a whole 3.5 kg, so hopefully more food with more walking will resolve this.
-1 cm waist / -1 cm hips / -1 mm on the fat calipers, so things are happening.

8.1. - 79.2 kg
15.1. - 77.8 kgKinda weird as I already had breakfast, probably rather low on water though. Currently eating 1500-1600 calories/day, more if I bike to work (+400/hr cycling)

Sorry to hear that, is there another one within cycling distance?

Some weird metabolism going on

Water weight can fluctuate a lot in some people, it can be about a kg for me. So don't worry yet!
[but beware of the lebkuchen]

Sweet gains bro!
That's no excuse for not being able to lay flat concrete. There's also huge paths around here, they're just covered in lamps, signs, A-boards, bins, hire bikes, other people, etc.
