apparently he has the wheels as well just not the tyres.
If it was something decent I'd go for it, just thought the jim bit was a bit weird and the bars and crank dont look like standard late 70's-early 80's raleigh. Maybe a bit earlier clubman, are there any bikes even called jim lol

Look like a Raleigh Grand Prix, late 60's, early 70's more like with that wrap around seatstay (indication of a Carlton which were brought by Raleigh in the 60's).
look like it been painted, as they usually sport some kind of chrome;

This guys 1971 Carlton International looks pretty close, see the crank?
The bike I was looking at has the fancier carlton lugs that I havent seen on a raleigh before? and wrapover seat stays too, with the weinman centre pulls, think can nail it down to a carlton 67-74. That should make it 531 shouldnt it?

Hi, does anybody know what hubs these are?
Looks like these hubs come from Thomas Klimecky, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, registered as a wholesaler and bike shop.

Just received this in the post today. It's a bit of a mystery as to what exactly it is.
There's no info on an 'A.J Rickett' anywhere on the web. I've contacted the seller to see if he knows anything about it. Someone seems to have taken a bit of time hand cutting the dropouts and seat stays so I'm hopeful it's not a load of crap :) I'd appreciate and info or guesses as to where it's from what age it is etc. The serial number on the BB is a '79' to one side and ''142' in the center. Cheers!

Yeah, one of the Cervelo Test Team bikes.
I think Sam Boonen was going to use it for the Paris-Brest-Roubaix. -

it's probably very light because of the lack of wheels.
if it's cheap, might as well go for it.
