Can you please tell which Campag cassette this is? I'm just wondering if it's better than my normal 10spd 2013 Centaur and therefore worth swapping in.

Found this on ebay lately. Any ideas?

Looks good - definitely not at 40's/50's frameset though. Likely to be 70's 80's run of the mill Italian lugged frameset.
The seatpost size should give you a clearer idea on the tubing type but don't expect miracles - probably Columbus Aelle/Thron tubing and not worth much.

Hello,
can anyone help me with a price estimation on this frame? It's a NOS Sancineto (columbus SLX I think; don't have more information).

Thanks, Vince. At least it is not a half a century old piece of junk. Recieved some more info from the seller yesterday: "I dont'know the tubing brand maybe old Falck or Reynolds. The seat tube is 27mm of diameter the weight is appox 1,5 KG".

Raleigh SBDU frame disguised as a Brian Rourke
I have recently put this frame on eBay as a Brian Rourke when somebody came back to me saying that it was not a Brain Rourke frame on closer inspection I realise that the frame number is SB6993 and possible a Raleigh SBDU frame, a Raleigh "expert" has confirmed it is a SBDU frame. It is also a lot lighter than a 531 frameDoes anyone know what era it is and want colour it would have been originally. The guy I purchased off had bought it from someone in London. I have tried the yahoo group but my posting don't seem to upload.
Thank you in advance

Real or fake GT?
Advert says it was owned/used by retired prof Tayeb Braikia.
I think it's fake, because it doesn't have the classic GT rear and some weird stays.
I know GT made some bikes for Lotto, but I would presume they would still have the classic GT styling. Like this Lotto GT road bike:

Could be an old label for Challenge Criterium Open
-
• #4341
Yeah that was my first thought.
I found these on velobase called Criterium, but they have only listed a few different tubulars on there.

one of the comments on the velobase page says that uk distribution was by Ozzo.
BITD the only place you could get Challenge volcanos and crits etc was Ozzo - now known as inmotion.

I guess I'm saying that the 2 manufacturers might be in some way linked e.g. challenge took on the criterium brand and called their produce the "challenge criterium" -

Yeah sounds like a good call, cheers. I asked in the shop today, but the guy didn't have any info on them.
They feel lovely at the moment anyway.

yes, Challenge tyres are seriously underrated (and often under-priced).
I have a dirt-cheap source of Vulcano tubs at the mo, but I'm keeping schtumm about it!
enjoy them -

Anyone got any ideas about this frame? It's currently in a classifieds thread and I've named it named "Mysterious TT lo pro frame".
Frame number PJ I84, and "Shimano SPR" dropouts.
Drilled for hidden rear brake under chainstay bridge.
Plus an interesting mount on the downtube for a single lever. Super aero! You clicks the small pics and you gets the big pics:

I think it's a Stan Pike
Apparently when he was reaching the end of his days, his sons used to build the frames.
Phillip (PJ) was one of them.
so PJ184 would have been serial # 184 built by PJ PikeThis is PJ111

@Rik_Van_Looy Very interesting, thanks for the insight! So PJ111 was built in 1983, and then the shop was sold in the "mid 80s". I wonder if Philip made any frames after this?
My frame has similar cut outs but more modern style forks and vertical dropouts (more late 80s or 90s), plus no wrapover seatstays. But I suppose it could be a later Philip Pike frame...

Does anybody have any idea what the maker of this bike is? All I've got to go on is the head tube transfer, which said 'TS'
The bike is made of Reynolds 531 tubing, with stickers that date it to the late 80's.

Does anyone know anything about AIMI? I got this track frame recently and I can't find anything on the internet about it. All i know is it's Italian and made of some sort of Columbus steel tubing, seat post diameter is 27.2 and there are quite a few pantographs that match the decals. (ignore the chain, i'm waiting for a bigger cog)

1055 hubs laced with golden anodized araya rims
looks like this:
wht do you say, what's it worth?
