Can you help to identify these frames, bikes or parts?

The frame/bike I bought would be a couple of years old if not three or four but thanks for the info. The guy I bought it from said he bought it new from Edwardes two and a half years ago and that it was Italian made. I plan to go to the shop and ask them directly.

Deda[/quote]Probably not - Deda manufacture tubing, in aluminium, steel and carbon fibre, but they don't make frames to the best of my knowledge. I know they work with a few small builders, i.e. Casati, to prototype new tubesets so I don't imagine they have an in house fabrication shop.

That's quite possible. The team bikes were the Scuro last year aparently which is the same as Dolan, Ribbl and Sumo sell. I do seem to remember them being made in the far east.

I want to renovate this frame (Reynolds 520, basic, track dropouts, simple lugs, bottom bracket stamped Gazelle 33235) but have no idea what they looked like in terms of colours (believe it to be from the early 80s). I've emailed Gazelle in NL but still waiting to hear back. Have Googled many times looking for pics of a Gazelle track bike from this period but no joy so far. Any ideas as to where to try looking? Cheers chaps.

P.S. Ignore the Concorde transfers they where put on when the frame was repainted by the previous owner.

Have a poke round on google, I have seen old Gazelles on various vintage sites and there's a site in Dutch thats explain the numbering systems for Gazelle frames which could narrow the date for you.

isn't 520 a more recent tubeset? i thought it was the taiwanese made version of 525... and the reynolds website won't work for me.

It's here...but I had forgotten that he took the DB offline, it was Dutch only anyway. There is some useful info on the site around the frame numbers...as your frame is post 1981 it appears that the 7 digits may just be serial rather than meaningful.

There's also someone in the US who restored an early 80's Gazelle road bike...it may give you some inspiration on the colours/graphics options.

If you do hear back from Gazelle do share the info.
