  • Got the following bits for pickup in Coventry. Any item is £3.

    1. Dia-Compe aero levers
To fit old road bars. Lots of deep scratches but still nice and shiny. Black hoods are in pretty good nick.

    2. Shimano 105 front mech, bolt-on
This came on a bike that had a triple crankset, but it looks like a double. Needs a good clean but otherwise reasonably good.

    3. Cantilever brake pads
    Were nine pounds, never used.

    4. Pedals
Grey plastic, no straps, rusty metal bits, standard thread. Good for a beater.

    5. Cinelli bars
Very scratched to shit. They have the little grooves for running the brake cables in. 42cm with standard 1" clamp.

    6. Hat
    Unworn.

    7. Raleigh T-Shirt
Medium. I think it's worn but in very good condition. Some very faint white marks which look like dust or detergent.

    8. Camera T-shirt
Extra Large - Unworn with tag. Pale yellow. Has a tiny little brown dot of something on the back which'll probably wash out.

    9. Token quick release levers
Some scratches but in very good condition otherwise.

£3 for any item. I live in Coventry near Humber Road or I can meet in town centre most days. I'm happy to post stuff if you add a couple of quid to cover it.

    Thanks!

  • looking for all sorts of bike parts, especialy frames PM me please.

  • I have two frames at the moment, a charge plug freestyler in small and a 60's Sun Wasp.

  • Spotted this poorly listed Webster track bike on t'bay, in Leicester...

    Too big for me, unfortunately!

  • Poorly listed, probably stolen.
    What size is it?

  • Deffo stolen!

  • Campag crank shaft....Classic!

  • Stronglight Singlespeed crankset, 42t, no dustcaps, slightly used, 3/32, 170mm arms - still in very good nick. They're about £30 new off of ebay, so call it £15? Pick up in town centre or off of Humber Road.

    Like so:

Also got 42t biopace chainring, lots of life left - £10
And a RH Shimano 105 crank to fit it, 170mm, square taper, silver, okay condition - £5

  • Wanted:

Chrome 1" threaded headset. Something nice but cheap?
1" threaded fork without too much rake. 700c preferred . Paint doesn't matter too much, as it'll probably get stripped.
    Silver MKS style pedals

    Anyone got anything to sell/trade?

  • I've got a 1" chrome headset, somewhat tatty. I can't think of anything I need to trade for it - a couple tins of spare beer? A wire brush? £3?

  • Thanks, but I have a Tange Falcon which I could fix up (haven't actually looked at it properly yet but it's pretty rusty), so really after something a bit more sparkly, campag or shimano style.

  • Fork should be easy to find on ebay. They are dime a dozen.

    Cheap decent headset: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/tange-levin-cds-1-inch-chrome-steel-cup-threaded-headset-prod10953/

  • Bargain.

  • Got a black Boardman saddle, very light, chromoly rails, couple of small scuffs on the sides - identical to this one

£5 pickup - I'm away for the weekend so it'll be Monday or I could meet you in town/train station tomorrow morning. I put a bit of black tape over the end to hide the Boardman logo but I can take it off if you like.

  • Or just get a Woundup for slavery points!

  • it's threadless though. (obviously a better system but might not suit the frame?)

  • Anyone got an old worn out road tyre from which I could make a belt? A coloured or striped one would be best.

  • ive got a blue and black one (vredestein) that's pretty done in if you like.
not sure when i could give it to you though..

  • Black and blue would actually be perfect as it matches the buckle. Where are you located?

  • kenilworth but i can get into town easy enough. whereabouts are you in cov?

  • I'm a student so I'm in town centre most days - I'll pm you.

  • Edinburgh Revolution Vision Light Set, like so:
    http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/products/revolution-vision-light-set

By a bizarre coincidence I have ended up with two sets of main lights - I've only used these once (Christmas Morning ride as soon as I unwrapped them). Comes with mounts, new batteries, and also I've put a little grease around the threads to waterproof it (a precaution that I always do with new lights).

£10 pickup - I'm away this weekend so it'll be Monday.
