Looks amazing. Cannot wait to pick this up. I'll eventually go for Gumwall tyres when I wear out the tyres!

Here. Front end is fine, as is the rear wheel. The seat tube is twisted so the seat post won’t even come out.

Not a lot you can do with that!
New frame / triangle is going to set you back a chunk, maybe b75 frame/triangle wouldn’t look horrendous. See profit if you haven’t paid for the bike.

Just wondering what to offer her for it as it stands, and then try and source a 2nd hand frame & triangle. Do you have anything to hand?

Take my raw lacquer 2 speed,

my frame cracked; promptly replaced with a B75 frame by @R.hobbs
its uglier now; glad its a B&W pic
Added joseph kuosac carbon handlebar; took off DA cranks as they were interfering with the fold, got rid of Paul levers as the cable pull was not right.
10.7kg; need to add the luggage block, spur bell and front dynamo light.

That is amazing how much the bike has bent.
Tall brompton candidate?
Would be interested in the rear triangle to replace part of mine and practice welding that diameter pipe
EDIT: Would someone like motoliner (in Maidstone) be able to straighten that as that company has straightened metal motorbike frames and diecast subframes.

I’d take the whole lot off you for sure!

Makes you realise how powerful escalators are!
Actually I might just try a warranty claim, y’know, JRA etc....

Show me colours!

Sora? All those bits and Sora for levers? Plenty of options from the far East which would look better...

Got my first Brompton and I love it. Multi-modal mobility is fantastic, and I’m extra please I got the additional rack with wheels for dragging it about. Sturmy archer isn’t indexed properly though so I have some fiddling to do later.

Function first.
This is a touring build, that will look smart, not a posh bike that looks ridiculous and doesn’t work!
-
• #8341
KCNC does functional but good looking stuff...

Price point... my experience is not reliable for thousands of miles...
If you can find something to suit the spec;
Black
3 finger
Long distance suitable
Price point - sora ones are in at £6 cost

Avid SD levers, one of those with the red dials?

Should I replace like for like with the hinge? It’s been almost two years and there is a little play with my hinge. Just thinking if it was worth to get ti parts for this or just stick with standard.
-
• #8346
Apologise, I meant the pivot hinge that connects the BB with rear stay of the bike.
-
• #8347
Ti parts of you are going to do every bit and bolt...
A few grams along isn’t worth it
-
• #8348
Noted, standard parts will do for me then.

feel free to head to SJS, we have demos you can test, will have an 18/20" disc rohloff demo too soon ;)
Is that a Kinetics one?
-

Yes it will be.
Also talking to my friend Vincent @ Eerder Metaal about getting a trade deal with his 20x2.25” ready forks / triangles
Hot stuff.
