  • Pot Belge?...

  • That might be what you call it with your fancy Euro pro espoir friends, but it's Belgian Mix in EC1.

  • Can you get me some Belgian Mix, please?

stop it Hippy will be here in a minute with his 180 bpm Belgian Techno

  • Sounds like you already have some..

I'm more of a 124 bpm man myself... or is that rpm, I'm not sure..

  • RPM is on another thread somewhere?

  • yer but no but, yer but no but,

regale us with some stories from Calshot blender...

  • just got back from a railway line ride in the fog -right pea souper,
winter fixed riding is great, keeps the energy going, i love it.

  • But it's Monday :/

  • check the OP ;-)

  • The thread is confused over its identity.

  • can change it back in spring, unless the boss does it now?

  • I don't care really. The days are all the same to me anyway. They all feel like Tuesday.

  • Spent the weekend cycling around Amsterdam on bicycles that mmccarthy would ruin trousers over.

If the bumbling blonde prick thinks he's got it right then he should pull his head out of his hoop and look at how they've done it there.

  • It's foggy.. but it's Monday.

  • London fog. I just rode down to old st and back on my raleigh sports and it all felt very oldy worldy.

  • ^not surprising. Old St itself is currently in the '80s, but all the nearby estates have remained in the '70s; which is preferable really.

  • did not make to the trough so i spent monday morning riding in the fog on the slopes of the ribble valley.

and the sun was out on the upper slopes. it was colder in the valley than it was on the high ground.

    about 60k.

is that the 'Trough of Bowland' you refer to? love it 'round there. not been since brother in law moved from Gisburn to Canada three years ago :(

Big Cyclo-cross scene there too.. how goes it in them parts?

Perfect, the Raleigh I was on is a '71.

London Fog was a 60s reference though, not sure anyone got it...

  • Is there a better way to start the weekend than with a sweet-ass night ride? I dont think so!
30 miles with the full moon peering over my shoulder, and the legs felt good for once!

  • dunno I just started the weekend with a huge noodle stir fry in peanut sauce, and a few marzipan balls for pudding--can hardly move now but Im sure it will gets worked off between now and monday-
    like your dedication though Andy
