Jadias, your rides sound horrible and your pictures are rubbish and you should probably never post about any rides ever again.
(I am so jealous)

What she said... except the bit about the horrible rides, rubbish pictures and never posting about any rides ever again. That looks totally awesome.

Pleasure riding in Kent with jonny this morning. We're not entirely sure of the route, lots of fog and no strava - just rode out and rode back, old school like...

Set out in torrential rain to do the worst climb in Kyoto with two buddies.
http://app.strava.com/activities/90144268
6.1km at 8.4% average, of which 3.4km are 10.6%. Fuck that thing so much. The road surface is poor and covered with debris, so coupled with the rain I went for my 32mm knobby CX wheels at ~60psi and immediately regretted that when the gradient got steep.
Absolutely sucked ass all the way up (was considerably faster my first time up there, on my road bike), then proceeded to punish myself for my climb selection and/or tyre selection and/or performance by dumping my bike on its side on some nice wet stone while riding home.
One of those days...

Spent friday and saturday helping Dumps deliver his freshly purchased tandem back to London from somewhere near Lincoln. Did the big hit on the friday to Cambridge and then had a leisurely ride in to town yesterday.
We had a hilarious first few miles trying to get used to the bike, but after relaxing into it found it a very pleasant experience.
Defo keen to try it again at some point.

Same here. Nothing more then the long way to the cafe in Blackmore. No route planing as such. Just had to find the right spot to turn right.
As Strava I can now share which I believe is a nice loop.

I went out with Hackney CC this morning. We got completely drenched. I had a miserable time as a result. Good company though.
That is all.

I went out alone in the torrential rain and howling wind. Got splashed by buses. Sworn at by peds and bullied by drivers. Some of the hills beat me and I discovered I am hideously unfit.
I bloody loved it.

yeah was a nice little 50 miler starting and ending at le Reej. very foggy once we had climbed up beddlestead lane heading south. descended white lane to get back in the clear. some quiet lanes around oxted and limpsfield before hitting titsey hill up on the way back in to south london.
never done that climb before. its an honest one.

I did a Sunday early bird ride with Essex Roads Cycling Club. Two hours, 60km+, glorious conditions (until the rain), friendly chaps, brisk pace. We had six riders, convenient for that tidy two-two-two formation.
One fast bloke called Simon kept leaping off the front, and I managed to hang on his coat tails for two such forays. We'd then both wait for the others at the next junction, panting and smiling.

Does sound a bit like the script for Top Gun 2, though. Sorry.

There was tension. Neither of us mentioned it. We didn't need to.

Went out on a fast paced club run (about 20mph average over 60 miles or so) with Kingston Wheelers today with a mate who's a member.
I've always been put off club runs by the amount of dicking about involved and the inevitable dick'ed or two who may ruin the vibe, but this was relatively pain free, bar an overly long coffee stop.
The route was pretty shit (a lot of urban / traffic-heavy bits) though, but there were a few sections at full gas that were savage.
Pancake flat which isn't good for me, but all good fun. Considering joining up - I need to get in good form for racing and they have the size and attitude to really do that. A right schlep to get to the start point tho.

Schlepped over to Chingford from Paddington on the XC bike to ride around the woods with strange tall man. Lost oyster card and money so schlepped it back again with Dimi in tow. 60 miles all in on winter full on mud rubber at 25psi.
I will have no legs for tomorrow's CX jokes.

You need to look under the mud, I bet they're still around there somewhere, probably near the lower half of your body.

Round trip to the South Downs yesterday. Pretty stiff headwind on the way out and it rained A LOT more than forecast.
Pretty bleak on top of the downs too, but good to get out.

I decided to ride out and meet St Jude head-on.
I snapped my front mech cable so rode into Jude's clutches on the little ring, into the wind and up. I managed a little mechanics at the cafe, ate cake, drank coffee, stuck it in the big ring, flicked her a V, and rode her anger all the way home.
She dropped a couple of tonnes of water on us in the last 30km.

excellent riding conditions today with Bernie and Leon, on his classic route.
The falling leaves was an added bonus..
you seem to be riding past some sort of ghost man
