  • i always thought PUSH cycles missed a trick, surely it should have been called PUSH bikes?

  • PUSH bikes?

    Buffalo Bill's favourite shop.

  • and teenslain's.

  • And salt. And pepa. And 'n'.

  • Check out our reviews. We are EVRYWONs' favourite bike shop. Shame we don't sell juice etc. though in this weather...

I drink my tea/coffee exclusively out of Mercian mugs.
In fact, I think all the ones we had for sale are being used by staff. Feels good.

Will, I saw your lovely/ugly frame in the shop, and the shattered remains of some HOPE titanium. You beast.

  • Prav, thanks to Hassan and Mike and some Brasso it is now ready to be built up again.

  • There seems to be a wave of "bike" coffee shops appearing nationwide. Which can only be a great, great thing.

  • if anyone wants to invest heavily in my bike shop/laundromat/video rental venture drop me a line.

  • Will you carry VHS?

  • betamax and laserdisc only. we will have a special shelf dedicated to the works of Rutger Hauer.

  • Hipsters only run beta.

  • Will you carry VHS?

    next to the NJS

  • Gah, too slow...

  • :P Glad you guys like the name, pop in and say hi when we open the shop, it will be pretty soon! I had to think long and hard about naming it Hadron...

Just popped into your Hadron shop Deniz. Very friendly reception. Love your postcards. Your dad made me an excellent coffee and your mechanic seems to know what he's talking about (apart from when it comes to using foot retention for brakless riding;)
Wish you luck with the shop guys!

  • Gabor is a nutter...I keep trying to put some brakes on that thing but he's having none of it.
Saw that you left a couple of things for us to think about, and I appreciate the input. It's still early days and we've got a lot to learn and improve on. Stop by again soon, when I'm not out on a 120km training ride...

  • He is a nutter and he loves talking bike and is friendly to customers so sort out his braking and he'll do you proud. And why doesn;t he need foot retention? Well because he from a little village in Hungary of course ;)

  • Hey lfgss ppl, its Gabor here, im the nutter above from Hadron. So i registered too. And btw its one of the most beautiful historycal little town in the country (NOT a village). Just google "Sopron". :D
im glad u like the shop.. :)

  • Hi gabor welcome to the forum. Sorry about the 'village' joke but you did say where you lived was too small to ride so you walked:) Anyway with your positive attitude and cycling knowledge (apart from the foot thing) you'll be an asset to hadron cycles.

See you when I next pop by or in the pub.

  • went to see if i could find the pub today and had a nice pint of staropramen, its pretty close to us. I reckon i'll be there next tuesday for a nice after work pint with the other nutterz.. ;)

  • I think there's a new bike shop opening on Kennington Road, between South Pacific and the motorbike place. Nothing to see bar a shiny new shop front this morning, but last week they had the door open and it looked like racks of high viz and bars/gels were out on display. Anyone know anything? Probably a good location, currently no bike shops between Brixton and Waterloo on my commute, so might be handy one day.

  • New one just opened on Lavender Hill (unless I've not noticed it after 5 months of riding the road 5x per week. Get A Grip! Just west of Cedars Road by maybe 2-3 blocks.

  • @ Cazza: It opens on Friday, had a quick chat with one of the shopfitters last week...

  • That area has been a bit of a bike shop desert, hasn't it?

  • A nice shop has opened in deepest darkest West London (Hanwell).

Friendly owner, an interesting and unique selection of bike brands, and a nice boutique feel.
