Personally I never send anything out until the money is in my actual bank account, not just PayPal. A friend sold a phone handset on eBay, someone paid with a credit card, he handed over the handset as soon as the money appeared in PayPal, but the card was stolen and PayPal wouldn't release the money.

It was a one off mate, i always deal with cash only.. lesson learnt!
