Yes he sent me the same thing, that is why i left it for a week to see and rang paypal on fri to double check its in so forth! Called him again and again.

I suggest you contact PP again and advise that you are going to report the theft to the police. Get as much info from PP as as possible to pass over (guaranteed they have had to deal with situations like this before and have procedures in place).

Let the twat know you've reported him to the police. and even if your wheel is not recovered he's ( Russel Kay?) on their files.

Mate we got pass this... hence the msg to hippy and i. I told him he was going about it the wrong way by not contacting and keeping me posted. He said in pm he was sorry and would keep me updated, which he has not done at all and thats when i tried ringing him end of last week.

The guy sent payment as gift. You didn't have correct things set up with Paypal and sent the money back to him.

Police / Paypal aren't going to do anything.

Hopefully he has a logical explanation about this. Surely its all to much hassle for £70 and not being able to buy/sell on this forum again..

The alias was created yesterday... Luckky . Hadn't yet posted or done anything, but with this current trade not yet resolved and creating a bad smell I would rather that xrawrx sort this out before moving on to another alias.

The ban reason stating that he needs to sort this out is visible were he to try and log in as Luckky. It's strongly worded (that's an understatement).

I hate to say this, but having worked for an internet trading company and having extensive experience with the inevitable paypal/ebay disputes, refunds etc....paypal is rubbish. Refunds and reversals especially.

EDIT: It's been a week and a half? So about 7-8 working days? It's quite possible that he really has not had the money back onto the card yet.
