As for profit/monies - that will need to be decided as per what we choose for provider and numbers.

My initial thoughts are that forum gets 20%, BDW gets design fees, investors get their money back and anything leftover goes back into the forum. That's a lot to split and worry about later but at the moment - only two of us have said we'll put up money. Until we have enough people opening their wallets, it's all moot.

depending on manufacturer I'd envisage the stripes continuing on the underside of the peak - some manufacturers print the coloured stripes, others may suggest material stripes

I suggest a list is started stating colour and strapline prefernece, I'm happy to supply the artworking files but I've had my fill of cycle clothing manufacturers so someone else will have to organise the manufacturing

Individuals who would pay up front would be great but ultimately really difficulty to manage several hundred bits of £10-13 or whatever the cost would be.

Better to have one person from each drinks who can deal their compass points and then sell/collect monies at drinks. Waaaaaay easier.

The idea of each division having one person underwriting the offering is simply to fund the manufacture. If there is a profit, after a good drink for the designers, then my view is that the surplus funds go to the Forum.

Also, each point of the compass will have a set number of caps paid for in advance, and supplied to their representative, so the arse ache of distribution and funds collection is split four ways.

Assuming, of course, that the tight arses of North London can find someone to join the team.

Depends on the number in the run...can each compass point sell 200 caps? 150? 100? I can front for the 100 or 150 from wests but 200 is a bit of a stretch. And to be clear - the idea is to make the forum some money.

TFG might be a good idea. Possibly LMNH as well: good retail foot fall. Happy to organise and arrange posting for non-localengers.
