  • The factory are still closed for their summer break. That's what happens in Italy.

When they re-open, so does communication with them and then it's usually 4-6 weeks.

So the soonest they'd be made will be early/mid October.

    early dibs then! :-)

  • anything new on this?

  • Labels are being manufactured I believe... but I can chase

  • Will they fit gigantic skulls ?

  • ^this

  • ^^ Yes.

    Last one didn't fit.

I find this discrimination against those of gigantus skullus unfair and saddening.

  • Get lost big'eads. Last one fitted perfect.

  • Oi hamster skull shut your noise!

  • Anyone know where I can get a spare plastic peak? Mine snapped last night :-(

  • Will they fit gigantic skulls ?

    Minus the hair, skin, etc?

  • And yes, should do, is the answer.

The brief for the new ones is roughly:

Same size as first batch, but with build quality and elastic of second batch. Leave the design as-is, but add a label on the back stitched between panels to differentiate 3rd batch from 2nd.

  • Not just put a 2 in the Goo 1 in the poo symbol on the back ? And by gigantic I mean 32 years later my mum still limps (62cm scone ed)

  • How about a winter cap?

  • It's always summer here.

  • Any updates? My campy cap has started disassembling.

  • ^ This, or a winter hat "For When It's Too Damn Cold To HTFU".

  • I get major ear pain in the cold, so something like this would be great.

Alternatively, a nice winter cap for under the helmet.

  • (from swrve)

  • icebreaker quantum headband - made of merino, and your summer hat can fit over the top so your ears are snug

  • giro are making nice black merino ear covering ones too, they look like^^ that except different

  • Oh I know about these things, was just kidding about the 'clapham muffs'. Are those winter casquettes awful? I can't make up my mind.
That icebreaker thing looks great, thanks. Been looking for a thin enough one for sub helmet.

  • I bought a LMNH winter hat and it is jolly nice.
