• There's a 3D printing workshop at LMNH soon, anyone fancy going along and making a load?

  • This is not a discussion about beer. What's going on?

Good question - I'd be up for a beer after work at Look Mum.

If that's not what you meant, I'm a big fan of Hackney Brewery's American Pale Ale at the moment.

  • Art Crank poster party just by Old Street roundabout today, then there's a Bike V Design after party on at LMNH til like midnight or later or something. You would know this if you read my blog.

  • I'll try and come, but I don't think my train will be there in time

  • Pfft like we care.
    scurries off to read

  • fine, I know where I'm not wanted

  • Was in reply to sumo's post. Mobile posting innit.

  • One reason I like the Gramin is that I don't have to clamp extra shit on my handlebars. I love that it sits neatly on my stem and the mounts can be switched quickly and cleanly amongst my bikes. We're talking about, what, 5cm difference in eye line here?

I never really look at it much when racing other than to quickly check my HR if I'm climbing or breaking just to make sure I can sustain the effort without blowing.

When training a quick look down is all that's needed anyway.. No need to stare at the fucking thing.

And for these reasons I'm out..

I don't know what Garmin you have, but on an 800 you go to courses, select the course you want, press the little spanner then turn on turn guidance. You might as well turn off virtual partner while you're at it.

I do. Do you read mine?

  • off to lmnh to celebrate my new job with a few beers, anyone in pre art-crank? no one turns up early doors to those things. hipsters are always late.

  • i'll swing by about 6ish. congrats on the new job!

  • In for a beer at Look Mum. Not sure I can handle HipsterCrank. Will see how things go.

I already knew that, I don't need to read your blog :P

I was talking about pre-7pm but this window has just disappeared anyway.

No. Sort it out yourselves. This has fuck all to do with me, and I'm not wasting my precious 3d printer time sorting you lot out with products that are already elsewhere. >>>

  • I'd be up for a beer at LMNH if only I could find my bike...

  • im out...

    Enjoy the sun people

  • I'll actually be getting into town at 21:30 so I'll definitely be there, though I am without bike

  • No. Sort it out yourselves. This has fuck all to do with me, and I'm not wasting my precious 3d printer time sorting you lot out with products that are already elsewhere. >>>

I don't think Iain was serious about you doing them. Was he?

If you can charge £30 a pop on eBay I might develop my own prototype and start flogging them.

In other news, why was Look Mum so short of beer tonight?!

  • I so was being serious!!!

    ;-)

  • is ya printer big enough for one of those?

  • diyspoke!

  • what's wrong with just putting your garmin on your stem? Assuming you've figured out how to use it, Iain.

What's wrong with just pedalling forward without any bullshit attached to the bike?

  • No. Sort it out yourselves. This has fuck all to do with me, and I'm not wasting my precious 3d printer time sorting you lot out with products that are already elsewhere

hey someone else has a 3D printer. Tom, my mate is having some issues printing with his makerbot, admittedly he's doing pretty intricate shit but... how do you find it ?

  • I don't have one, some reading back is required. Still haven't got round to putting my name down for this session either.
