  • Lance was more successful because he was a cunt. Culture of doping means biggest cunt takes all. Like any criminal initiative.

    Have you not been listening

    He obviously has been listening

  • is the secret pro having a dig at cadel evans?

No, think he's focusing on the dirty Euros. You know the ones, called Miguel or Paulo, wear banadanas and employ curious facial hair, shifty looks, generally feckless

  • "...Lance isn't a cunt because he doped, he doped because he's a cunt."

    This!

  • Great American tradition.

  • Lance is in.

  • Why is it that when the fastest stage racing cyclist rides fast he is a doper but Bolt who is faster than all those doping arround him is the savior of the sport? Double standards really.

    Bolt's not clean. (Probably.)

Other sports just have their head in the sand or don't care because the money is rolling in.

  • Bolt the saviour of the sport? Really.

I think most people understand that sprinters are doped to the eyeballs.

This. The ugly truth is in most sports doping is ignored to not upset the apple cart. Cycling has been the favoured bete noir but the reality is they're all at it. The fact that names outside of cycling were covered up in the Fuentes affair speaks volumes. Cycling cops it but a football doping scandal, tennis, even cricket? The very reason Lance got away with it for so long was the enormous revenue he generated. That money stream gets jeopardised by doping, and reactive measures to doping reflect that. Most sports aren't interested, just in what spectacle the athletes are capable of.

    And they call wrestling fake.

  • He's asked for his B-sample to be tested

When German Telekom pulled the plug on cycling after their team went under the "doping bus".. the President of FC Bayern Uli Hoeneß expressed statisfaction and added that they will try to get the budget Telekom by demanding more for the space on the jerseys..

The fact is that soccer does not get tested. Their orgs claim that since there is no advantage--- and, of course, there is and doping is quite widespread (and some of the drugs that have been used are incredibly nasty such as Pervitin which was probably used by the German national football team to win the 1954 World Cup)-- there is no need, whence nobody does it.. I must admit, having spoken with a number of sports journalists with intimate contacts that doping is probably the least "problem" in football.. and game that is about as much sport as American professional wrestling.. in football corruption, bribes and game manipulation appears to be more rule than exception.. Its big money, mafia and politics... Bernard Tapie was a fall guy for how the ball rolls... And in Italy where some of the top teams got caught? Juventus, AC Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio, Reggina,.... All within a year back to business...

    That hurt, man. Really hurt...

Wrestling is probably the most honest sport out there as it knows what is and doesn't hide it - An entertainment business.

  • except of course they are all pumped full of steroids

  • Wrestling... sport... entertainment business.

I think you're confusing Wrestling (a sport) with Wrestling (a barely-veiled fictional entertainment format based vaguely on what wrestling (the sport) has previously been).

  • I don't think that most of the public believe that sprinters are all doping. People genuinely seem to believe e.g. that Bolt is clean "but he's so tall, he runs differently, etc etc" - he's only 2 inches taller than Asafa Powell or Carl Lewis. He must be doping, he apparently employs the star witness in the Balco case (Angel Heredia/Hernandez) who witnessed against others purely to save his own skin.

North American Professional wrestling--- the show-- does these days feature people who are quite "pumped up". Gone are 1930s and 1940s when the sport was dominated by Supermen like Harry “the Jewish Bad Boy” Finkelstein, Abie “Hebrew Hercules” Coleman and many other even religious Jews wearing masks to hide from the community but make a living... Back then mass was fat.. and the biggest mass was Martin “the Blimp” Levy.. And it was Jack Pfefer who started things rolling by taking the freak show to wrestling and getting his guys to shave their heads, wear extreme beards, mustaches, ...
Today.. Its like at any gym.. Steroids.. Steroids.. Steroids.. oh.. and Steroids.. a'bissl HGF and... But the masks are still there and the personas.. and the kids yelling and ..

  • Blimey - Martin "The Blimp" Levy makes Big Daddy look like Chris Froome.

  • It's kicking off in the US again, baseball and other sports:

    Includes juicing college-aged athletes. Nice.

Baseball doping is about the least secret secret ever - even I knew about it and I think that the sport is stupid so don't follow it. The USADA seems to have it's thumb* up it's arse when it comes to sports that have a high commercial value...

    *Entire hand, more like.

  • You do realise that USADA only has responsibility for Olympic sports don't you? So most major, professionalised US sports are outside of it's remit.

USADA doesn't have jurisdiction over them and they don't subscribe to WADA code. The players unions negotiate with the league on what anti-doping looks like.

    He's got nothing on hippy.

Just how do you think you got so hairy?

  • Apologies, I got my anti-doping organizations confused...

So, basically, US pro sports can make it up as they go along? Awesome.
