On Froome, I hope that bastard gets nailed to the wall sooner rather than later. And his little mate.
Are you that sure they are? Really?

I don't understand how he gets such a free ride from the press and internet forum people. He rode for ONCE and CSC, both teams who had organised doping programmes in place and was competitive in an era where doping was widespread.
I've always thought of him as suspect.
Because he never tested positive or was caught in a doping investigation? Plus didn't act like a mouthy twat. Probably helps.

It's quiet old so I may get the nationality wrong,
the first reported fatalities due to EPO were of 2 young, possibly dutch , riders during their sleep. -

Feels like an old school coup d'etat, McQuaid is being hung out to dry properly, and thank good for that. Very important now to make sure someone completely different replaces him.

Are these management committee meetings secret or will there be minutes published?
-

McQuaid will need to be sacrificed for cycling to be seen to have moved on. Lance was the wicked with of the west and Pat resides in the east.
It's still fundamentally fucked though. The levels of dishonesty in cycling are unbelievable. It permeates the sport at all levels, people think it's ok to cheat in shitty 3/4 crits if they can get away with it.

^ You're in cycling, right? I bet you're lying.

^ I don't really think you're lying, I was lying.

Not sure where else to stick this;
Brian Cookson OBE @cooksonforuci 26m
Thanks for your patience, but how about 4pm this Thursday (20 June) for a Twitter Q&A. I'll try to answer as many questions as I can! -

I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about Europcar on here. Had it been a Sky rider it would have been clinictastic.
Bernaudeau clearly lied through his teeth about it and, really, Roland's performance in the last two tours was surprising even if it was not completely unbelievable. -

excuse my naiveté, but is this article making insinuations beyond the low result? Could he have been just tired? I quite liked Roland in the last two tours.

Gilbert didn't use mudguards. You can't expect him to have remained spotless.
