James how old is your sister?
But liking the fact he got sacked? Bit far I would have phrased it better. Such as hopefully he will learn that his behaviour was unacceptable.

so what sentiment am i meant to feel?
what is our reaction to a driver deliberately mounting the kerb to hit a cyclist
what is our likely reaction if he gets banged up?
as such being satisfied that a cunt who was a professional driver lost his job for trying to hit me seems a fairly reasonable response
my sister is 2.5 years older than me
she drives a ridiculous range rover (because it makes her feel safe - there is still an arrest warrant for her in the USA after she destroyed a petrol garage by crashing into the pumps and the support for the roof)
years ago she was driving down a road and from her description a tree suddenly appeared in front of her, the fact that when the police arrived it was on the verge where it had always been is indicative of how safe a driver i consider her to be!

so what sentiment am i meant to feel? What ever sentiment you want.
what is our reaction to a driver deliberately mounting the kerb to hit a cyclist - Someone with serious issues (social if not mental)
what is our likely reaction if he gets banged up? ill he get help to understand what he did wrong and why its unacceptable, but doubt that he'll get anything serious.
as such being satisfied that a cunt who was a professional driver lost his job for trying to hit me seems a fairly reasonable response - But you know your sister so maybe a little tact to avoid a confrontation.

Lynx you fucker! You're dragging my thread off-topic.
DJ, where does your sister live? It's not that I want to date her, I just think avoiding cycling in the same area might be a good move.
wanders off muttering "how the fuck do you drive into a petrol station?!??"

He took a life, take his in return.

radio 5 saying the guy's got life... in this case our bizarre legal system says life is 13 years minimum...
So was it murder? Or aggravated manslaughter or something to that effect?

He's been band from most of them.

So how about appealing at the sentence to the Attorney General? At least it would generate some paperwork. Statistics are all in the public sector.

The UK was formed by a series of Acts of Union which united the formerly it does not mean, as one might expect, "imprisonment for life", but a prison sentence of indeterminate length. In many cases the Home Secretary sets the "tariff", or length of term, for prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment. The average sentence is about 15 years before the first parole hearing, although those convicted for heinous offenses serve their sentences significantly longer, and some receive " whole life tariffThe whole life tariff came into force in 1983 when the British Home Secretary began to set minimum terms that convicted murderers had to serve before being considered for release on life licence. The intention of a whole life tariff was for a prisoner tos" and die in prison, such as Myra HindleyMyra Hindley ( July 23, 1942 November 15, 2002) was one of the Moors Murderers jailed for murder in 1966. She was sentenced to and Harold ShipmanHarold Frederick Shipman ( January 14, 1946 January 13, 2004) was a British general practitioner who definitely murdered at least 15 people under his care and perhaps between 230 and 275 in total, making him the most prolific serial killer in British hist. Prisoners jailed for life are released on a life licenceLife licence is a term used in the British criminal justice system for the conditions under which a prisoner sentenced to life in jail may be released. He got life, what's to appeal?
He has to wait 15 years or so until he's allowed to see the parole board and persuade them he's learned his lesson. Then the parole board may let him out, and for the rest of his life he's on licence, and can be sent back to prison whenever the authorities deem fit.
Most life prisoners do turn their lives around and come out better people, it;s the scrotes who are in and out on short sentences who give the vast proportion of the trouble. -

re: appealing to the AG and creating more paperwork..........
Right, good point, like more paperwork is gonna help us all
Follow me on twatter
has someone just been deleted
my elder sister had a go at me the other weekend for being glad i got the driver who swerved at me sacked
I sent her this story last week,
"
Some of your comments last week really annoyed me
Here is an example of what happens to cyclists when someone rams them
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/7646957/Driver-killed-cyclist-in-revenge-attack.html
As such the driver who attempted to ram me clearly could have killed me. There is no defence for his actions and so what if he cannot feed his family. His actions could have killed me."
she never responded, i love my elder sister but her world view comes straight from the daily mail
