  • hey i have a wheel cover if Beth wants it...(it needs cutting but it is easily done with some big scissors)

Certainly would! Nice one guys thanks.

Will be down at London Fields tomorrow morning and Ben let me know when's good.

  • im up north so wont be there tomorrow/today. ill see you next week.

  • Can be there 10:30. Any loaner required?

  • Not for me.

  • Are we playing today? I'm at london fields

  • I'm heading home

  • Sorry Jojo, I was there, but only the 2 of us.

When there's no list there's no session. We should make sure to officially call it off as well I think (@Io @Beagle)

Sorry, guys! There's going to be a list again in the future... and if we are less than 4 it's normally not going to happen. 4+ means probably on, 6+ definitely happening!

  • Sorry guys. Had bike issues...

  • Hey, i'd really like to get involved on tuesday at Newington gardens, if thats happening this week. I have neither bike nor mallet, and if there's aren't any loaner bikes, i'll probably just come down to chat/chill. but if there are any loaner bikes going, i'd really appreciate it.

  • the tuesday session i mean

  • Miles - I will bring a spare mallet. Others have spares too.
Lots of people are likely to let you play on their bikes.

    Tues 5 Nov - Newington

    1. Miles (no bike, no mallet)
    2. Jackie - 6.30pm
      3.
      4.
      5.
      6.
  • hey there Miles gibbons,
check here on tuesday to see if the session is going ahead. if there are 6 people turning up then it's on.
don't worry about a mallet, there are some extras you can borrow for the session and you can always borrow someone else's bike for a few games.

  • Tues 5 Nov - Newington

    1. Miles (no bike, no mallet)
    2. Jackie - 6.30pm
    3. David (6.30pm without mallet; should be picking one up this saturday)
      4.
      5.
      6.
  • or just build a sweet polo bike

    #anyexcuse

  • in for tuesday for sure. Still no bike..

  • Ok sure, crossing my fingers for more peeps.

And believe me I am this close to properly thinking of building up a polo bike:

And I''ve only payed one session...

  • Tues 5 Nov - Newington

    1. Jackie - 6.30pm
    2. David (6.30pm without mallet; should be picking one up this saturday)

    3. 5.

    • BRodrick (no bike)
    • Miles (no bike, no mallet)

(just moved the no bikes people so we can see if we have enough bikes for games :-) don't take it badly :-) )

  • Hey, I'm back at last :)

Would love to come tomorrow, but the bike I bought not gonna work as a polo bike, so I have to use mine again for a bit - or borrow one. I have my mallet tough :)

  • Tues 5 Nov - Newington

    1. Jackie - 6.30pm
    2. David (6.30pm without mallet; should be picking one up this saturday)
    3. Ed (lefty with Time Atacs)

    4. 5.
      6.

    • BRodrick (no bike)
    • Miles (no bike, no mallet)
    • Suzie (no bike)
  • No Worries!

  • Hi guys,

I'd like to give it a try at Newington Gardens as well, but don't have an appropriate bike or mallet yet... I guess add me to the bottom of the list just in case!

    Paul

  • i'm borrowing a single-speed cyclocross bike at the moment, which may have a small enough front Chainring to play, but i can't be sure, probably not good enough. But i'll bring it anyway. I might be able to play on it.

  • Tues 5 Nov - Newington

    1. Jackie - 6.30pm
    2. David (6.30pm - no mallet)
    3. Ed (lefty with Time Atacs)
    4. Miles (cyclocross bike - no mallet)

    • BRodrick (no bike)
    • Paul scopespd (no bike)
    • Suzie (no bike)
    • Borcsa (?no bike?)
  • I have my single speed if that counts

  • you might find the gearing a little too high, but most polo bikes are now singlespeed
