A mallet please, I have me a fixed bike, with quite a high ratio, which I can imagine will make things difficult, but not impossible?

Yep, should be fine, as long as you don't mind if it gets dinged.
The only mod that you will need is to move the brake level to your non mallet hand side, then you're away!
Give me a shout if you need anything else.

I have dibsed and will collect a mallet + pole offered on freecycle and will throw it into the beginners polo pool :)

I guess we have almost come full circle and it's time to get some new beginners in. I don't have a lot of time to push this though so at the moment it might be a bit of an inbetweeny stage until Kev (?) takes this up and central.
