You got all your team Al? Early is cool if so.
Throw ins are happening up North but we to can only stay for a bit so would like to do some team practice. -
• #1260
I am guessing by early you do not mean morning. Which sucks cus I am working 12-6.
-
• #1261
It is sometimes morning, but maybe not that early. Let's see who's about on the Newington thread. As I said, I'm up for team practice though.

Sorry, I would of could come but bobby training is priority in life at the moment and hijacks the weekends.
So results and post match analysis?

in
although if anyone has a spare nut (heheh) that would be awesome -
• #1271
Should be there at about 6, but if there is anyone in for earlier, 5.30 ish, it will be better still. Got a dinner meet at 7.30 hence will need to shoot off at about 6.30-ish...
-
• #1272
6ish should be good for me too. If we are playing 180cm goals from now on i can bring a tape measure. Shall we mark the spots on the ground then? Can someone bring spray paint? would that piss off the "people" who are currently ok with us playing? is this really necessary for a casual throw in? do ask too many questions?
Crumb, what's a nut? like a nut or a nut?
-
• #1273
If you're serious then:
Yes it's necessary, it would be very wrong to play smaller goals than everyone else. Polo is a new (ish) sport and will continue to develop.
Feel free to bring a tape measure.
They have a tape measure and markings at other courts.
No to spray paint on the floor of the councils car park.
Chalk maybe.Crumb, 5mm nut for your mallet?
Loaner will be in attendance as will all the mallets I own. -
• #1274
Joni, do you think someone will mind if you spray paint a couple of lines in the carpark?*
*genuine question
-
• #1275
can we scratch it in a little unobtrusively? In a way that you would only see it if you were looking for it? Anyway, i'll bring the tape. Last week there was a fair amount of Tom Foolery on the goal sizes.
I can bring you a 5mm lock nut
Hmm...based on the evidence thats come to light (thanks Max) the "yeeeaahh" seems like more of a dick move than the original dick move
