I went to rail europe yesterday, asking for the cheapest arrangements from london to munich and back from berlin.

paris to munich was about 65 euroes
berlin to paris was about 80 -100 euroes (estimation as beyond the time available to book).

Also if you don't have a bike bag it is an extra 12 euroes.

I am just going to take the plane. It is about £60 on BA each way.

Be careful with bikes on the international trains. For some, if the bike is not in a bag then you canno travel at all. We had this problem doing AMS - KHR and had to go on pesky little local trains.

Was checking on the BA site this morning about taking bikes... It's fine to do so but the bike counts as your normal luggage allocation, my polo bike weighs a ton tho'... :|

DB did it all (which is new I think? Wasn't that way when you took the train to K'ruhe). Looked at eurorail, but it was more than DB.
