Who are you calling a prick? ;)
Seriously though, I am being sent off for tests but results will take 7 days, so this sounds helpful. I'm having the tests done at UCH so hopefully I can convince them to give me a prick test at the same time.
Assuming a prick test isn't like a inverse shim or a long weight...
I would pop into your local pharmacy tomorrow or A&E and see if they can do you a sugar (prick)test. If you are diabetic you need treatment asap not on Monday. Diabetes is either type 1 or type 2 and you need to know which one you may have. In the meantime, ensure you take enough sugars/carbs during your waking hours so you don't 'slump' like you have been.

@ Fox, I would be surprised if you are diabetic and if you are you certainly will not be Type 1.

I feel for you--I'm now in my eleventh or so week off the bike, with occasional premature forays. I'll be naughty tonight and ride somewhere but I've been far too sensible for my liking.

Oliver, don't suppose you know if I could make a claim with this accident?
Rubbish in the road, most I didn't see because the pile was behind a car.If I don't get surgery, my arm is going to be permanently longer than the other.

The benefits of having one arm longer than the other might be good..? :P

Been for a run and been to the gym. Would have been out on the new bike this weekend except that my package from Wiggle has vanished in the post.
I have a lovely Fausto Coppi sitting in my flat, finished apart from a lockring and chain. They were posted to me on Tuesday.
Two working days my arse! -
