Fucking Isis BB so no others to swap with as my others are all loose bearing types with ISO drive. Have ordered cranks and BB so lets hope the mail room at velosolo are quick.

How'd you manage 3 bikes rooted at once?

Laziness combined with drinking. See the last Guinness ride for the first casualty. That bike has never been the same since. I currently have 3 sets of forks all of which require the steerer to be re-threaded. Easy enough to do, I just haven't been arsed. Second bike died shortly after the Tweed Run when the BB decided to loosen itself and fucked up both the bearings and the thread in the frame. Bit more difficult to sort and haven't got round to it. Pub bike has been used/abused to the point of destruction mentioned above.

I'll be spitting feathers by Friday so may turn up on a work colleagues Apollo bouncy mountain bike. I'm not out yet by any means!

Is there someone, who will attend the ride and own a Shimano freewheel remover? If so please take it with you to the ride.
i can be recognized by riding a very shitty dull silver BSO with black wheels and respond to the name Jaanus.

I hass the removal tools, but one needs a 1/2inch square drive, and the other a 26mm spanner. Can you bring these with you, as I will be weighed down with foam hats and other goodies for the ride.

Oh, and remember everyone, in memory of the greatly missed 50/14 no locks. We will be outside and can buddy up to order in the beer, whist the other stands sentry.

I think you just did! It is a testament to Fiddy, how his birthday has brought back for so many the pain of his passing. However, this is brightened by fond memories of a shining example of both exhuberance and compassion.

A few of us will be heading off to the Pony at some point, not sure exactly when but we'll definitely be going.
