lets see if this works then..

Great pics mate, can't remember getting home, I do remember leaving the Pembury at 7.30 am though, sort of intercepted it at closing time, then sort of stayed, for a long time..... All in all, a top night if tomfoolery...

  • Thanks to all for a top night, twas pretty mental, was great to meet new people, cheers to bernie for sorting everything out, I think we should have another one real soon.....

  • Even though was only there for a few pints, great night. Loved the welcome as I skidded up to the Toucan, and the subsequent cheers to every other skidding passer by.

Chainbreaker - you are a lot like your avatar.

    1. Most promising alter boy

    DublinKevin

I'm not sure if I should be flattered or worried...
I run away from Ireland 'cos I cant find a job and first social night out with some cyclists involves leprachaun hats and a randy bishop.. thought I'd left all that behind! :-)

Nice one for organising it Bernie, lots of good fun, spirits not dampened by the sudden downpour between mcnastys and the toucan.
I dont even remember leaving or the route I took home, but thankfully pointed myself in the right direction and saw a sign for the elephant and castle, so I knew how to get home from there. First time cycling home from Soho as well, I was well proud of myself the next day.
And of course, I was also feeling like complete shit for the polo tournament!

Thanks for the superior pix jcgarcia, mine are just taken on a mobile phone.
Hope your arm heals up bearfoot!

    7.30 am ???!!?
Oooh I like lock ins. But they're bad for you. Whole weekend is a write off afterwards.

  • ey KEVIN are you coming for drinks tomorrow?

  • ?? Where and when's it on? Might come for JUST ONE pint, but I'm pretty broke until the end of May when I get paid by the new job, just forked out deposit and first months rent...
Also might be playing polo in Hackney if a game comes together...

  • Monday night is always Saaaf drinks, at the Coach and Horses. Head south from Elephant and Castle onto the A23, down to Brixton tube station, and take a right turn to Clapham. Full details on the relevant thread, or call me on the mobile, and I will send over details.

  • It's all about SE drinks these days =P

  • SE is on Tuesday though... and anyway on a Tuesday there is only one place to be drinking, and certainly ain't SE...

  • Wrong, there are two places to be drinking, which I shall be demonstrating this week =P

  • You coming up the hill? Wicked.

  • Indeed, it's been too long!

Gonna shoot back down to my home from home about 9-ish though.

  • mick, call into me at work on the way back south & i'll ride with you (got those ethopian beans for you too)

  • Will do dude, which one is it you work in?

  • great night out all
