That was fun.
Dunno what time I left but I was well on the downward slide, things would have got very messy if I'd stayed any longer, was a fairly sketchy wobble home as it was. On the up side I was only half an hour late for work and am now in tip-top condition for the Isle of Wight trip.

Cheers Bernie for the fine cat herding duties last night, I've got to go and stand in a pond full of cold water now. Lovely.

Was great meeting you guys! thanks for the ride all you who made it happen.
Thanks Bernie for nearly seeing me home. Lost you when the rozzers pulled me over and asked me why im drink driving with no lights on. Not the wisest thing to do, have to admit, but got away eventually.
Managed to lean where i shouldnt have, on a slippery metal plate on the pavement, and took a nasty fall. Apart from an aching hand and bruised ego im fine. Now the real question is how is it even possible to snap both toe clips at one go? thats the gloomy aftermath of my tumble.Oh, Bernie, i still have your wrench. Let me know when i could drop it off for you.

Or, as the good Reverend would say:
"Why we're on this particular mission, we'll never know.
But I do know, here today, that the Black Knights will emerge victorious once again."
Ha ha, good man Jim.
And to you all, thanks for making it such a special evening, and hopefully everyone made it safe home. Special mentions to Bishop Chainbreaker, hearing confessions and swearing like a trooper, and The Lush, there despite trying to cut his thumb off.
"It's only a flesh wound."
A privilege to be associated with you all, and very special thanks to Charco, MMcCarthy and Joe G for making it happen.
Mick, maybe beginnng of September for Guinness #3?
