2010-07-03 - London to Norwich Ride

As it's Fathers Day, we fathers should get to decide what we do (for once).

Date sounds good to me, I'll put in the diary. Us Norwich boys will need to travel down the night before ideally, if anyone wants to put us up, otherwise I'll have a word with some friends in London so we can get a place.

well it's not too late to change it, altough think we narrowed it down to the last 3 weekends of june..

i can't do the last two weekends in june.

Fuck all you fixie fools, I'm doing it geared.

The ride can happily go ahead without me, but here are the weekends I still have free (I might stick a Brighton or Southend overnighter on one of these):

June 5th/6th
July 3rd/4th
July 10th/11th
July 31st/August 1st

Riding already planned on every other week-end. :)

However, it's hippy's ride, he has set a date, and there won't be any date that everybody can make, so it's a bit of a moot point.

3 July is school Open day and Prize-giving followed by Leavers' Ball and Camilla's last day at school ever. I dare not miss that. No 10 is sadly free.

I'm riding to thetford whihc is on the way in may with a few friends, mainly triathlete types but it will be a chilled ride on a monday, but it would be good to have more people along, so not so much as hijack but a supplementry ride to this one...

How much depends on how often you are riding 200k and backing it up the day after.

In that case, the first option (20 June) would be better for me. I'll still do it if 3 July goes ahead though, it's not an important race or anything..

There's a bar in Norwich called the Bicycle Shop - if there's any interest I'll get in touch with the owner & see if the basement might be available on the evening of the ride for a piss-up. As such, are we concrete on the date?
