  • That was an asian corner shop!

Mind you, it does show a marked upturn in standards in the capital. When I got robbed in London some years ago my assailants didn't express their gratitude and implore me to visit them in the future.

  • Coffee, Coke, Opening the Windows or Ranting at one of my co-workers seems to wake me up.

  • Just nodded off for 15 minutes at my desk... that could have caused a problem or two

...and there'll be more tweets from Alistair Darling throughout the day. Now here's Pistanator with the Merseyside update - live from London...

  • he had caught narcolepsy.

Yeah, 'cos it's really contagious. zzzzz

  • I'm starting at Scrub (HHB) in Soho generally dealing with all the post production and editing suites in the area, with a few minor ones outside of Soho like the BBC.

    Where are you working?

I am away from Soho at IMG in Chiswick. How I miss the drinking culture Soho provides. I used to deal with HHB a few years back. Somebody Haep was someone I remember speaking to.

    Good luck with that

  • How I miss the drinking culture Soho provides.

    Jeff been in?...

  • Cripe, it wasn't long ago that sweet use to cost 35p.

  • Jeff been in?...

    No he's unwell.

  • Jeff been in?...

is that Max Crowe at 100?

  • is that geofry bernard ?
what a class bloke he was
he used to be on loose ends with ned sherrin some of his stories were hilarious, he's a proper old school drinker in the oliver reed mould
apart from the ones where he got shit faced he ended up in the gutters along berwick street

  • Jeff been in?...

    Greasy?

  • Do you have chocolate at lunch time?

Sugar rush and come-downs knock me out occasionally. That damned Pret fridge bar.

I cut out chocolate and I regain alertness and attentiveness.

So if you gorge on lovely yummy chocolate, perhaps it's time to give it a rest for a week to see the difference.

It was the steak and kidney pie / cheapo coffee in this office / star of the lid shuffling onto my ipod that did it. Luckily i was here alone so i stretched out my legs, folded my arm and dribbled onto my collar, everyone was non the wiser... i hope

  • Reading this is making me tired - that and the amount of spreadsheets I'm trying to work on today.

  • cripes (like trousers) come in pairs ed.

  • There's a guy that sits in my eye-line that sleeps at work all the time (he does do the most boring job ever though so you've got to let him off) - makes me very sleepy just seeing him there with his eyes closed. I have to go for a little lap around the office if I start to go too.

  • i think i might be narc

  • oleptic

  • Thank feck I work in a coffee shop!

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Were you watching Edsquabble's video of cycling from Gray's Inn Road to the South Bank?

    Fixed.

  • Narcolepsy isn't a joke--it can be a serious impairment for people suffering from it. For instance, I used to invigilate exams in which narcoleptic students had to be watched by a special invigilator in case they fell asleep--which in one case happened about three times per exam. It can be difficult to live with. However, it is easy to make reasonable adjustments for sufferers in the workplace, or of course in exams.
