The girls rode very well again!
I am pooped from today though, early start!

Women not girls rule my world.

I dunno, "women" always puts one in mind of old maids and WI meetings, tupperware, sensible shoes, lots of navy blue and disapproving looks.

Wimmins FTW.
Not sure what I'm doing in this thread...
?!
-
• #31
^^Nah, the WI, paradoxically, is for ladies.

Come on girls! I counted 10 wimminz on the track, pull yer fingers out the rest of ya... I enjoyed my cheerleading/barracking session today, 'til it got a bit chilly...

I always get confused with that one. Got told off by some old bint at my University for calling women girls once and always think of that when one says women. So I'm never sure :S
Not surprised you are tired Rob. It was a good session this morning too

I missed it again.
Heard it was going to rain at 4 (fuck metcheck) and went for a road ride. -
• #35
I wished it had rained at 1pm ;)

No you don't, stop pretending to be difficult.
Have evening sessions started yet, mr cranky pants? -
• #37
Monday night race training starts tomorrow - 6pm.
-
• #38
Well, if it isn't down pouring it will.
(is it just me, or does it seem like every time I want to have fun, met check say's no?)

• #39

If anyone feels motivated enough I guess we could post this like a flyer wherever to promote the sessions a bit, or answer the usual questions when it comes up in a thread? If anyone with real design skills wants to make a better flyer then they're more than welcome! :)

I'll be out of the road bike tonight (as long as both the rain holds out and I didn't actually kill my knee in the bowl earlier)
Anyone else? -

I keep trying to find this thread to recommend it to other people and failing - so it might be worth adding 'track' to the title, and moving it to another area - like rides and races or something - as there may well be people who'd be interested but never check the trackies group posts.
(sorry... I feel a bit bad criticising the thread location when I've said I'm not coming... but... meh.)

I think Nhatt means just out on the road. The tuesday road bike sessions are run by Dave Creasy and are unstructured. Basically CP tri club and a few other chaingang it around SFAIK
I saw a bit of one of the last sessions of 2009, only a few riders but I was astonished at how badly they rode their bikes. Choppy pedaling is exposed massively on the track. Nowhere to hide.

CP tri club
I was astonished at how badly they rode their bikes.
And why would that be???
:-)

Now don't go putting words into my mouth, the riders I saw on that particular night were not from that club. Just some local roadies.
I say nothing more lest I be incriminated in libelous scandal. -

hee hee...
It was great today. Thanks Rob and Stelle. I will try to get more passes for this one.
