Just got an email
Seasons Greetings from 2012
The year we've been waiting for is almost here!
Fuck off

Resales start today. And such a fucked up system.
Nobody's thought to only show sessions for which there is availability, so you choose your required tickets and go through the order process, wait a million hours while it does fuck knows what, and then it tells you that there is no availability for what you just selected.
Why did you fucking allow me to select it then, you tosspots?

^ same here. Cunts.

Anything for tarck?

I was hoping for Paralympics - want to be there on my birthday (31st Aug). It got my hopes up. Then crushed them. Fuckers.
-
• #483
Just listening to the news - they've taken it down already.
-
• #484
Why choose Ticketmaster, who can't even sell Glastonbury tickets without having their entire site go down every year?
Should have sold them all on Amazon.
-
• #485
YES! got tickets for my birthday. Brilliant.
There are tickets for sale for the main velodrome on the 3/5/7 of Aug, including the Keirin and womens finals, though prices are the top dollar ones though.

I got tickets for the 'London Prepares' series. I'm off to the Gymnastics next Thursday. I'm happier now, although I still think the system is fucked and am seriously pissed off at not getting tickets for any Pringle events.
-
• #487
There are pringle tickets avaible now - though only affordable ones are for the paras.
-
• #488
I'm up for seeing the para's - on it...

Balls, only £95 tickets left for those events too now. Ah well.
-
• #490
This is fucked.
I am quite prepared to buy the £95 tickets. they come up in the search, but it won't let me buy any of the cunting things.
Same fucking story with the Paralympic tickets. And then it changes to Water Polo. what the fuck?
-
• #491
Yeah, tickets show up, add to checkout, confirm, then "No tickets found"

Wasn't sure where to post this but here goes. This was announced today.
LOCOG will increase viewing capacity for what they called the best vantage points, the Zig Zag Road incline and Donkey Green area of Box Hill to up to 15,000 from initial plans for 3,500. Access `will be ticketed in line with London 2012 aims.' These will still be even harder to get than the track tickets I suppose.
-
• #493
How the hell are they going to fit 15000 people? The donkey green doesn't exactly have a massive slope, so the people at the back won't see nowt... I guess they could use that big slope on the first tight bend opposite the car park. I think I know where my spot will be already, but I ain't tellin ya!

One of the lucky few. Was this random luck or rollerprivilige?
-

Can't remember exact criteria but it's something to do with officials / volunteers / or event organisers for British Cycling being offered tickets.
-
• #498
Nice one Paul. I assume they don't include spares for ex-neighbours?
Or you'd swap for a couple of basket ball tickets;] -
• #499
can I be blunt? no.

sorry!....... have a difficult shortlist to choose from already......
What! Rubbish. They didn't even let me have tickets to the track event on my birthday.
