We were discussing the way the camera handles different light sources, but looking at images where the WB had likely been drastically shifted in post. Thats all.

I can't get over how good that bus portrait is @HPx93 I'm a big fan of blue blacks, too, so I think the pushed post is bang on!

Wanna get a new body.
Got a D3 and tempted to get a D3S but with nikon moving forward Im tempted by the D750 or the D810 anyone used either of these new ones?
-
• #8562
D750 + grip.
-
• #8563
Is it the one then, I just love the handling of the pro bodies and haven't had a camera with grip added on before. Whats its performance like in real world?
Ive heard its as good as D4s in lowlight and auto focus.

Never used the new Nikons. I've used gripped Canon 5Ds and the full-size 1DX though, and its pretty close ergonomically, if you prefer the vertical grip.
I suppose it makes a nice convertible camera that you can always reduce the size of if you're going on holiday or whatnot, rather than schlepping a D3s around... -

Cheers, I knew what I was aiming for and read about what I was going to do. Think the little GX1 handled it quite well. Not too noisy.

Yup, what @⑦up said. To be honest, I think the OOC shot handles the colours pretty well, but sodium plus white fluorescent is always going to be a bit of a compromise.
Leaving aside the colour stuff, it is a lovely portrait.

My manfrotto Befree tripod arrived yesterday, seems good.
Not used it in anger yet, but have plans for infrared long exposure projects in the new year. -
