I think 7up was referring to the posts at the end of the page before this with the comment about perspective, then afterwards realized this wasn't actually the latest posts in this thread.
Happens to me a lot to since the forum change as the indication that there's more pages than the one you're currently at is kind-of subtle.. -

Also what I see from these Fuji X100's - colour and sharpness-wise - is so fucking good..
if I had enough money for a proper fixed lens digital I'd definately get one.. -

I got one as a replacement for my stolen X100s (sniff. Thank god for insurance). I also have a Ricoh. They're both great cameras. For me, the X100T is more a camera for really thinking about my shots and the Ricoh is more of a pocket grab camera that's easy to operate one handed on the move. I like the Fuji jpegs better but the Ricoh ones are great too. And I now have no desire ever to go back to an SLR...

The colours are pretty amazing, in the right conditions. My only gripe is the flare but thats pretty minor.

Actually, from what I've seen so far, colours are pretty great in difficult light as well - especially dusk / dawn / night shots with different sorts of artificial lighting.

Also, the fill flash is amazing. It just nails it every time. And the built-in ND filter with fill flash at f/2 in bright sunlight is win.

Also a nice shot in general, but I think I already told you this (you have posted this before right?)

Cheers, it was taken today but have probably got loads like that :/
Just developed in Adobe Camera Raw using the fuji Astia profile, bit of contrast etc but no messing with standard colour profiles. The in-camera jpeg is really similar.^ that's fucking amazing.

Yeah, the colour rendition is amazingly good in low light. With the Ricoh in low light I tend to use black and white and forced flash, which works quite well for are-bure-bokeh, Daido Moriyama style (which I like), but it's not as great in colour as the Fuji.

yep x100(s in this case) colours are real nice in low light (a little post on this in Lightroom)
however on that note i am selling mine (to fund a leica M6 TTL), its really nice to use, mine has only about 4000 shots on it, and a bunch of accessories all in mint condition (apart from a small mark on the leather case)
PM me if you're interested and i can give you more info and pictures, haven't put it up for sale officially yet.

those black and whites are incredible!

^^ thats a lovely shot, but it appears juiced as opposed to accurate, unless it's a ice bar bus..no?

Looks to me like the WB has been calibrated to makes the guy's shirt white. Because he's bathed in yellow sodium light from the street light, it makes the fluorescent in the bus look hella blue. It can be tweaked by pulling back the blues in post. No digital camera is going to get a shot like that spot on, mixed light sources are really tough.

the colours are a little pushed in post yes, i'll try to post a screenshot of the original for comparison.

heres the original screenshotted, as you can see i've added a lot of blue, meta data says 3200 ISO, at f2.8 & 1/50th
