jesus, man the fuck up! i rode to bristol yesterday on a cunt of a hangover...
well, i tried anyway... what with a bre-booked train, 7 punctures between 4 of us (including a slow one which had to be topped up every 10 mins) and a nasty headwind for the last bit, we decided to ditch at bath and get the train from there. after a couple of well deserved guinni of course.
also, the weather is going to be amazing next weekend.

48 x 18 low 70s...
65 might be a bit spinny on the flat, but should be fine.

hope my knee holds out! Just got back from a 30 mile ride, suffered sharp stabbing pains half way through, though did get better as the miles past. Weird?

Ah nothing too serious. Just failed to appreciate the existence of a kerb until I hit it and went flying. Bit sore, a few bruises but all is well...

Always take knee pain seriously. Ideally see a physio. It may be only intermittent now, but it may not stay that way.

Can I, a laydee, riding fixed, on 72 gear inches, having had little or no training for this since a 90km very leisurely and flat ride on road bike about 18 months ago (which I found to be fine) do this ride without embarassing myself and/or holding everyone up?
Thoughts please....

Was this anything to do with you babysitting Murtle on the way back?

ha.
I spent all night reminding murts to be good with his drinking as i didnt want to have to scrape him off the pavement on the way home.

I say yes - we can leisurely ride it together
Should I do this?
I dunno....
