Make me proud damo, it's up to you now...
-
• #6453
Oh dear! Bad luck, and good luck in the coming weeks Matt.

• #6454
Two Daddies, One Gouty Leg. Good luck Matt and Damo.

Just noticed the old tag "better than ikea".
Grrr.
-
• #6456
Ah, you reap what you sow, wages of sin and all that.
Naughtiness leads to babies, babies lead to Ikea, Ikea results in pain.
-
• #6457
Babies were never going to lead me to Ikea.
I think most women would shorten your progression to: … babies lead to pain.
-
• #6458
Fuck me, that all got a bit epic. Home now, at 1.30am :/

I really really enjoyed that.
Highlight: The second train not being cancelled and seing it's headlights approach from the distance.

It's the kind of ride you have to do once in a while, to keep your SKH licence up-to-date.

Highlight: the smoothest, blackest, quietest tarmac in Surrey, albeit briefly, round the Gracious Pond bit. And the fact that the train carriage was tangibly warm as we boarded.
-
• #6464
the train carriage was tangibly warm
There's something disconcerting about that phrase but I can't quite put my finger on it.
-
• #6465
2011 is all about tangibility.
-
• #6466
...i can feel it
-
• #6467
Hey Matt heal up soon. time is running short!
-
• #6468
Yep, Tika it's true. I'm going to be in plaster during labour, pretty much for sure, unless we are 9 days overdue.
I also have ridden a total of 2 miles during 2011. I feel like an ex cyclist. It sucks.
-
• #6469
Just think of it as a 1 year ban.
-
• #6470
Only if someone gives me some dope.
-
• #6471
If I suddenly started going uphill quickly, it would be the most obvious doping scandal in history.
-
• #6472
Parenthood tends to be more about rapidly going downhill (for the parents).
-
• #6473
That's good, because I downhill really slowly at the moment.
-
• #6474
I've only just seen this about your injury, Matt. Heal up quickly!
-
• #6475
Can someone give me an ETA for regular runs again? I ask as I have broken my Coccyx and have to take up to 8 weeks off a bike and I was just getting into training again.
That'll teach me to try rodeo backflips on snowpark kickers :'(
I feel like one of those soldiers waiting to go over the top and seeing injured comrades coming back from the front line.
Heal up Matt. And good luck.
